Hey Corey thank you for this - I too was unable to push the piston into the caliper, until I saw your video and backed of the grub screw with a hex key. 😁 My car is a 2003 Mazda Astina 1.8 Litre.
You can use a G clamp sort of like what builders use for holding timber in place but use one that screws up not the pump handle ones. They are relatively cheap. I bought mine from a cheap chinse knock off shop for five bucks.
