Haven't listened to Nahko in a while. Going through some dark shit that I'm just starting to pull out of myself. So this is pretty synchronistic to find this video. Honestly in much the same way I originally found Nahko; was going through shit back then as well. Was Nahko "cancelled" for some stupid shit/going through some shit himself? Either way, it's good to see him back to basics and be back as well.

This is synchronicity as it best. This take me back to the first time ever heard of Nako playing the most simplistic but the best version of black as night. Then I started a journey of soul search and spiritual growth. After so much progress I allowed my ego to lead me astray but I been longing to get back to the right hand of God. When I started listening to your music was back when I had my children (I have 4(1 boy 12, 3 girls 11,10,7)) and when I was with the person who brought me to listen to your music my ex Marcel Agg.
I still love him but him and I both know it'll never be the same.
Wow, I didn't realize it's been almost 4 years since my children went into the care of child and family services but before that happen everything was good everything was amazingly great I don't know what took that all away but I hope someday I get it all back. Being that said when everything was good. My family and I would listen to your music on our little trips to grandma's ,or grandpa's, or even to our fishing trips, even to go explore the province of Alberta.
I really miss those days but today I was really finding it hard to fight these addictions and sicknesses but as soon as I came back to listen to your music it gave me that little bit of hope that one day I can do it all again with my children and fight this as well as getting back to my normal self.

I used to love me but I can't right now I am not me for the moment. I hope to be soon though. But I wanted to let you know your music is so inspiring and encouraging that it got me to remember what good was and how much you changed me for the better.
