@@lese91 well hopefully you have the confidence now because people need to realize that people at the gym don’t really care about other people everyone is there to better themselves. At least with me I don’t really focus on others I just go and lift. So if you still haven’t gone to the weights yet then just know no one cares and there’s no need to worry, and even if they do care they’re just assholes but they don’t make up the majority of lifters. In fact when I see a scrawny or a larger person at the gym I actually say to myself “good shit” because I know they’re there trying to do better for themselves.
So yeah I hope you have the confidence to go because you’re they’re for your own benefit not other people. And the more you stay in the section the more confidence and comfortable you’ll feel there 💪🏼

I have a regular looking body, so it’s not that, but it’s more the idea of looking stupid or getting in someone’s way/inconveniencing them. And I hate to say this because I believe in feminism and equality and all that but it’s 50x more stressful because it’s men who I’d be annoying.
