Being good in a second language isn't a crime and doesn't make you worse in your first language. Being multilingual is actually a talent and takes a lot of hardwork. If she actually commands multiple languages she's actually worth a lot of dollars. She can be hired as an elite translator.. and almost earn better than she's doing now. I had a friend who was very intelligent and pretty and people would always make up the dumbest and most disrespectful assumptions about her due to their jealousy. It made her sad. She was only ever sweet and helpful and whenever she tried to help, people would accuse her of being pretentious.
People are envious of anyone who people like your friend because she represents a privileged section of society. The fact that she's well spoken and good looking means she's offered more opportunities in life especially in terms of jobs and attracting a partner. This is something the average person might struggle with and they become resentful

English is not my first language i learned it and ppl make mistakes in it. We don't speak correct hindi either. If you have a problem with my English keep it to yourself i do not want you to interrupt however if i tend to make a lot of mistakes correct me in private in a friendly manner that i should improve it.
