@@NorimichiTeves It's not that, although there is some of that. Having the treble cranked up and sharp note contrast (like short spikes and troughs in volume) is at least part of it I think.
While seemingly a ballet, Gelb covers an incredible spectrum of narrative dance, from the triumphant Fighting Trim, bouncing Sir Duke and operatic Hellbulb to the fearsome Bauhaus and the delightful and strangely rebellious Try the Wine. Overall, this tangy, forward, and energetic album is unmistakeably _Gelb._ 4.8/5 very nice
@@internetfriendlychannel840 yup he did the bauhaus ballet and was inspiration for this album and its art which does feature either reproductions or samples from that ballet score and one of the costumes in that ballet in the art.

Maybe she doesn't because she wants them to be experiences you sit through all the way instead of skipping around. Might be why she doesn't put them on other platforms like Spotify or sound cloud. Idk just my guess

You do a lot of unique things with the voice leading in Alien. I like the movement of the suspended chords not resolving to their relative major/minor. Always gets me because of how established that kind of resolution is. Good work!
Hellbulb is a masterpiece with a wonderful chord progression. Who exactly is Danny Wade? I've only managed to find two. One is like a DJ guy and the other is an Irish Singer. Neither seem to fit the boy soprano narrator role found here.
A masterpiece indeed, and Danny's voice is a huge contribution! She is now called Danny Juforier and you can find her in this comment section. Or here: th-cam.com/users/SoulAlreadySoldabout
I am extremely late to the party but hello, I'm the Danny you were looking for! I changed my public name a few months after Gelb was released, so I get that I might have been kinda hard to find :D Thank you very much for your appreciation! The release is now almost four years ago and I still feel proud of being part of this work (and of course a few others from Patricia) :]
discovered your music with Techdog and wow....I'm OBSESSED with this. I'm delighted to find how good every single one of your albums are. The first vocals that come in are so triumphant.
All songs of this album are great but in my opinion it would be better if u reduce the solo drum part(?) like 8:27 or add some melodies cuz it felt lil bit absurd and stem the tide of entire song to me(Btw its just on my own after all and if this is ur identity, u can just ignore it) (p.s. im 100% korean so please consider it when u find some awkward expressions while u read this)
Skipped ahead to this trilogy a couple of days ago. Now I know that I should prepare myself for the one sitting listen for TECHDOG I had planned at some point in 2025 cause I got tired quickly from jamming to this trilogy. I like dancing to music okay. Well at least I had more space this time. Nobody has home and with all of Techdog I had listened to them when living at school and the bedrooms were definitely not the same size as the living room and kitchen and hallway. Much less dancing space to get tired on. Either way this is the best one honestly. All these feel pretty golden!
Btw, is there a reason the track list in the description not have time stamps? Would help navigating the album a lot, and it's sometimes I want to relisten to a track but have no idea which one it is or when it starts.
I really enjoy this album. I cannot decipher the words for Sir Duke or Try The Wine, and while they sound great I was wondering if there was a way for me to sing along to them or to understand the words? Are there lyrics on the bandcamp link or somewhere?
Nevermind, I found the music videos on her channel! There is also one for Spiral Staircase which was useful too. If you are someone who has trouble with audio processing and happen to see this, I wish you luck! These songs are great and being able to know the words makes them even greater.
this album tastes like you have a hard sour candy the shape of the ball of a flail and you were rolling it around your tongue. ten out of ten
omg it's you! Thank you so much for introducing me to this hidden gem of an artist and giving me several more comfort songs.

Fighting Trim is just immediately one of my favourite songs you’ve ever released
the drop at 21:37 is fire 🔥
Favourite tracks: Jackrabbit and Gelb. Love the drop(s) in Alien also. Feels very satisfying and visceral to listen to - like a deep brain massage.
This album art reminds me of a weird Fever Dream game I played as a kid.
Same??? Weird
LSD: Dream Emulator for PSX? That game was awesome.
The title track has a very "lucky" feel to it. The FM(?) bells remind me of winning the jackpot on a slot machine in the best possible way.
That purring bass... WOW!
Coverart gives me a bit of Iglooghost vibes. Absolutely phenomenal album, explores so many places.
you're right!! the visuals kinda remind me of iglooghost too

Just going by the parts of the Triadisches Ballett, does this mean we're gonna get a "Teil zwei: Rosa" and a "Teil drei: Schwartz"?
