Great video! I really liked the natural framing. Something I haven’t used as much as I should.

Great video. I've pretty much stuck to astrophotography for my wide lens. Will be using it to get down low and close in the future.

Tho I don’t do landscapes, great points to using wide angle lenses.

I think foreground must be a huge part of wide angle photography in landscapes since anything in the distance like mountains will be so tiny

Nice tips and a great video overall. Thank you. Is 2:30 at the Valley of the Gods if I may ask?

As someone who is one and a half years into photography, I'm sort of ashamed to admit that only now I start to "feel" and really understand focal length. I feel that now I can begin to understand how to use and choose focal length according to what I'm trying to photograph.
I would struggle a lot with it's choosing, especially from the 14mm to 70mm area. I couldn't seem to really get my composition right and I didn't understand how focal length plays a huge role in that. I would struggle between choosing 24mm or 35mm. 14mm or 18mm. 18mm or 24mm. Therefore, videos like this one really help me continue to understand and "feel" more about focal length and how to use it to get the images I want. Photography isn't indeed about just pointing and clicking, there is plenty to learn, which often goes unnoticed in an image, especially to non-photographers. I usually tell friends "I really feel focal length now".
Anyways, thank you so much for your continuous contribution Nickolas!
    Cheers, Miguel

    Do you focus bracket?

Yes, but not as often as you’d think. Many images I’ve just shot f/18 and left the background a bit soft. I’ve sold shots to many organizations and never had any issues.
