@@avagaytan8123 It was never inappropriate between Meredith and Alex and remember Derek has been there from the beginning so he knows the fab 5 were all close. Besides alot of the men and women were close anyway.
@@Ayelle-em3vn exactly. What owen did to her, in my opinion was wrong. She didn't want to become a mother and he should've respected her opinion. But I believe she still respected and loved Meredith and Derek's kids. It was nice to see. She'd be luke the cool aunt I guess haha

I loved that this was when Derek really started to forgive Meredith, even though he was mad about what she did - when she broke down, he knew she'd been punished enough. That not being able to be there or see Zola in that moment during her crisis- was all the punishment he could bare to put on her anymore. Even though he was still slightly distant through the remainder of the episode, they were able to get past her screw up after this.
It wasn't rage...it was blind panic and a ton of anxiety! It can appear as rage but it is completely different; bordering a panic attack with extreme hyper focus on one aspect. That one aspect being the only thing you can think of and the source of all the negative emotion; in this case it was the desperation to help his daughter. The presentation of aggression and 'rage' was because he was on the brink and couldn't fathom anyone telling him that he couldn't be the one saving his daughter at the time. I know this is a TV show and acting but its pretty on point from a parental view. Especially a parent who is medically/surgically trained to deal with such matters. Blind panic much like blind rage leads to a loss of rationality. Another example of all this is when Dr. Baileys' son was 'missing' in daycare when in fact he was being treated for a nosebleed and returned moment into the outburst of panic and anxiety. Xxx
what if Zola hadn't survived the surgery cuz damage was too much to repair i would like to see meredith behavior cuz her actions freaked that adoption lady and she sent Zola to someone else
I think Janet had a partial bias against Meredith and Derek and not because of the taking Zola thing but that was certainly half of what she had against the adopting. But, I think she was biased against them because they were two white people wanting to adopt a black baby. And I’m not saying to at as a bad thing I’m saying it as a she let her own personal feelings get in the way of her judgement thing or half of her judgement and the other half was the Meredith taking Zola and disappearing for a few hours thing.
What sucks is the one scene with Owen and Derek and Derek says that it's all Meredith's fault, when it's absolutely not! Who asked him to sleep on the deck the day they got Zola for the first time!!! Nobody. Had he not done that, the social worker wouldn't have found inconsistencies in Meredith's story the next day. The heck it's all Mer's fault. She might have messed up the trial but losing Zola was not all her fault.
She was the one who kidnapped the baby. So it’s her fault. She ruined his career and he took space to cool off. He didn’t know Meredith too Zola home that night cuz he wasn’t picking her calls.
