I just realised that the thing you presented in class was how the words that we see affect the things we hear. Like if we think of corn we hear corn and the same goes for similar sounding words. Of course, Slime being Slime does not go about doing so without sneaking a little pun in. The line "It is also called maize because it is easy to get lost in its amazing flavour" takes advantage of the fact that "maize," another alias of corn, is a homophone of "maze," something someone could get lost in. This adds to the delivery of Colonel Cornelius Cornwall's message, bringing attention to the true wonders of the flavour of corn.
After this speech, Colonel Cornelius Cornwall states that "side effects of corn may include choking, I guess." Perhaps this is the final warning given to us by the colonel himself. A measly attempt to ward us off before we witness the events that precede this cry for help. The camera zooms into Cornwall's for one last time.
Colonel Cornelius Cornwall then breaks out into a jingle. He sways his body back and forth, in an elegant yet aggressive manner. The backdrop of the video, with a sunset which once held such beauty, slowly fades into a deeper crimson. The sunset is no longer beautiful, but rather terrifying.

"The video starts out with a backdrop of a corn field at sunset, which appears to be a stock image. It is then followed by Slime rising from the earth, as he states in the line "from the earth i rise and from the earth i one day will return". He is adorned in a costume of corn. It is later revealed that he is playing the character of Colonel Cornelius Cornwall, after he so crudely refers to his audience as "mother shuckers" (which is a play on the phrase mother fuckers). The importance of the character he plays is further emphasised by his name slowly popping into the screen, word by word.
Colonel Cornelius Cornwall then brings his hands up, before a can of corn promptly appears in his palms with a puff of smoke. The dark arts used to materialise this can is currently unknown. Colonel Cornelius Cornwall then reveals his motive, "to introduce you to corn". An applause is then heard as the camera slowly zooms into the can of corn. Who are the crowd of people cheering this entity on? Is it his disciples? Or perhaps the screams of the damned? The world truly may never know. we can only hope the corn gods will bless us with the wisdom of these cheers.
Colonel Cornelius Cornwall then gives us a rundown on corn and its importance as the video runs several deeply enticing clips of corn. Of course, Slime being Slime does not go about doing so without sneaking a little pun in. The line "It is also called maize because it is easy to get lost in its amazing flavour" takes advantage of the fact that "maize", another alias of corn, is a homophone of "maze", something someone could get lost in. This adds to the delivery of Colonel Cornelius Cornwall's message, bringing attention to the true wonders of the flavour of corn.
After this speech, Colonel Cornelius Cornwall states that "side effects of corn may include choking, i guess". Perhaps this is the final warning given to us by the colonel himself. A measly attempt to ward us off before we witness the events that precede this cry for help. The camera zooms into Cornwall's for one last time.
Colonel Cornelius Cornwall then breaks out into a jingle. He sways his body back and forth, in an elegant yet aggressive manner. The backdrop of the video, with a sunset which once held such beauty, slowly fades into a deeper crimson. The sunset is no longer beautiful, but rather terrifying.
