For wireless Xbox One S controller (only works with Xbox One S controller, not Xbox One regular controller) you have to have it in purple mode and press the sync button the controller and the dongle so the dongle is flashing really fast and then it'll sync up
I never even connect mine through wire. I just press the button and hold the Bluetooth button on the Switch and bam, I can use the Switch controller on PC emulators.
HEY! To use an Xbox One controller, you need the New Xbox One controller (like the one you showed) that has a texturized back and a headphone jack on the bottom. You need to turn on Sync mode on the adapter which flashes a lot I think, then turn your Xbox controller into Bluetooth sync mode. Then it should work wirelessly. Also, did the USB-C to USB adapter COME with the mayflash adapter itself?
I don't know how the PS3 controller works, but the adapter DOES work with a Xbox 360 controller. You will need to attach the wireless module for it tho to be able to use it and hook it directly to the adapter to make it work. However, the analog stick have somehow gotten up/down reversed on that... As in, up is down and down is up (left/right is correct, however). So that's that :P

Apparently the ps4 controller always disconnects after unplugging it. You just have to press the PS home button to turn it back on and it should work wirelessly. Make sure to plug it in first tho.
I’ve just been searching Reddit for some answers with some technical difficulties I ran into. I just got my first pc this week, and I don’t know too much about anything. I play with my controller (PS4 scuff) and got a Mayflash Magic-NS adapter to eliminate the input lag I was getting. It works really well, however my “touchpad” is not registering, it appears as tho it thinks my “share” button is my touchpad. Any ideas how to get my touch pad to work on PC? Or to make my touchpad work normally? I believe the Mayflash is adapting me to XINPUT and the PC may think I’m on an XBOX360 controller so maybe that’s why? I’m not sure I’m not too well read on any of this. I would greatly appreciate any help, and will even compensate anyone who can help me. Thanks so much.

I have been using this for a while and it worked really well, but today the switch dock failed to connect to the Magic NS adapter. But I can connect to the switch directly using the provided extension cable..anybody has a solution?

i think you can have multiple controllers (aka players) per adapter and it will work as different players, it;s just that all of those controllers will behave as if they are all player 1 (aka they will turn on the player 1 light on the controller). but they will work as intended, as far as i've seen in other videos of this.
+loco max Only on docked can you charge and play. When you plug in portable mode you use the USB C port for the adapter. If you purchase an additional USB hub it should in theory allow for charging as well just as the Dock does, it would be a lot of cables however

I think the only downsides to getting one for my 360 controller are no motion controls and a garbage D Pad. But, I'll have a good controller overall and I'll actually be able to put it to use. I initially got it for me GPD XD but I didn't realize it used USB Mini.

Hi Justin. I have this adapter and you can set the mayflash to be whichever player you want. Essentially the Switch reads the Mayflash adapter as a wired Switch Pro Controller, so you can use it as player one, two, three or four. Just go into the controller menu and select "change grip/order"
Yeah this works just fine. I brought two of these adaptors to use my existing PS4 controllers with the switch. So I can now play 4 player games such as overcooked using the 2 Single Joy cons as 2 controllers, and the 2 PS4 controllers each running wireless from an adaptor. Works great for 4 player Mario Kart as well.
Just got my gizmo today off Amazon. Love Super Mario with my XBox 360 controller.
