      God is not an entity like we imagine.
      We - our minds - are so incredibly limited - so we find it impossible to conceive of a God that is nothing we can imagine or understand.
      So we create a belief that He or She is a He or She that thinks and plans like we do.
      Then we can't understand how so much bad stuff happens if God is God and is supposed to love us.
      But whatever is the Creator is totally beyond our imagination.
      It is only our mind that creates this God idea - and then we get lost when some awful thing happens to us.

      @@karenthomas7235 God didnt abandon ANYONE.. More often its the other way around, and usually its due to resentment over things like what happened to shyster. EVERYTHING happens for a reason, and shyster has to learn that loss was part of both you and your mother's journey, there IS a reason it happened, and if you have Faith, you will find out what that reason is.

    I’m listening to your story now because my beloved husband of 45 years passed on suddenly a month ago. He was still working had only a few months to retirement and had a major cardiac event getting ready for work. Prior to his passing he’d been listening to and talking to me about NDE’s and was fascinated, he was a good, kind man, is greatly missed and I’m sitting here wondering if I have a purpose now, he was my everything and I’m also wondering what I was supposed to learn from his death. I know I was truly blessed to be loved by him and I am grateful for that, but now what? I’m hearing meditation and prayer, thank you for sharing your story with us, much love and respect.

    Man this one really really hit home with me!...i suffered two severe heart attacks and with both i had 2 different and distinct NDE's..but back to Karens, i too found myself floating at the very top of the operating room...as a builder i found myself fascinated with how all these large machines and equipment were all attached...i saw the gallery dome surrounding the operating room and thought- "how cool"!...then just like Karen i moved outside the hospital into the same black void or tunnel...however to me that was the real and literal Hell i was going through..i felt the desolation and eternal hopelessness emanating from it and i immediately realized that people actually chose to go there at that moment..those with dark souls are drawn to that place!...and her doctor story also brought a smile to my face...i was in ICU for 7 full days but after the second my heart surgeon came into my room and we had a great chat...he told me that if he had even been up at his office a few floors up i would have died- permanently...he related that he just happened to be leaving the hospital and they were rushing me in and if he wouldnt have been at that exact place at that exact time, i would have perished.. i was clinically dead for over 2 minutes and 45 seconds and they had tried several unsuccessful attempts at de fibrilization and my heart would not start...by this time your other organs start to fail but the doctor told me he was prompted to try one more time- which he did and my heart started again...he told me at that time that in his 25 yrs as a heart surgeon, i was the worst patient he had ever seen being wheeled in and actually walked out of the hospital 10 days later~

      If you prefer being with people to being alone then desolation is hell. If you prefer being alone to being with people then desolation is heaven. It depends on your relative experience with people vs. being alone. Dying alone wasn’t my first choice but by this point I’ve had so many bad experiences with people that dying alone feels preferable. But that’s the difference between an Enneagram 7 personality and an Enneagram 5.

    I usually watch a LOT of these people who tell about their NDEs ... it just struck me that so many people can tell their stories with almost no hesitation and a narrative flow ... that is uncanny! Dr. Bruce Greyson (perhaps the world's top authority on NDE research) also found in his research that the stories that NDErs tell do NOT change over a long time as ordinary recollections of memory do. He revisited the same people he interviewed many years ago, and that consistency struck him also as ... unusual or perhaps uncanny. This speaks to that NDEs are not a regular human experience. And this NDEr also had an Apparently Veridical Perception (AVP) verified by a third party (the observed surgeon). Yeah ... what do we really know about reality? Honestly?

    Thank you Karen for sharing your story. As a result of an experience I had at a certain church as a teenager, I worried for many, many years about the destiny of my soul and the souls of my loved ones. My fear was eating me up. Even if I could manage to do all the things expected of me to get into heaven, I couldn't control the beliefs and choices of others. How could I ever be happy or feel love for God if suffering for an eternity was to be the fate of so many that I loved? I prayed nearly every day for all of our souls, but basically lived in fear. I didn't know how I was ever going to get through the death of my loved ones. I truly believe God answered my prayers by leading me to all these amazing, heartwarming testimonies like yours, Karen. I will be 60 next month, and have lost several close family members. As difficult as it has been, I've had a peace that I never would have conceived of having when I was younger. I am so incredibly grateful to God and to all of you who have shared your experiences with the public. I can tell you that it has truly made a world of difference in my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and God bless you. ❤❤❤

      I have listened to Jeff Olsen story 3 times. He has impressed me as a decent man who articulated his NDE
      in an inspiring loving way, full.of reason and intelligence , love and hope, wisdom & counsel.
      Upon seeing his wife again & wishing to remain with her, she told
      him "remembered we agreed to this all before we were born".
      A powerful proof of our preexisting
      Soul before the current life, and the love pacts we make to experience
      Certain things in the interests of enriching that soul and contributing a purpose.

Your generosity towards humanity's understanding of the knowledge you have gathered shows what type of worthy angel in the eyes of God you are and you will be richly rewarded again upon your final return "home". @@karenthomas7235 I concur, such a beautiful story Karen. As I said above, I was literally in tears this evening praying to God that he would let me feel this peace and I even recalled the bible verse to him while at the beach at dark... My little 2YO boy is being withheld from me by his mother without cause in a really evil way.. It's been a year and a half of hell and all I want to do is love him... Tonight I was praying for God's peace as I await justice in the courts... Your tears right at the moment where you mentioned God's peace that passes all understanding in brought me to tears for the second time this evening. In saying this may I send you an email? I would love to hear some of your thoughts on prayer and meditation.. two things I am currently learning and growing in.

    Quite a few years back I was sitting on my bed in the middle of the day and was going through a rough spot in my life when suddenly I was enveloped by this immense unconditional love. At the same time I had clarity about everything in this world. I just sat there and cried because it was just so intense. This lasted a few seconds and then it diminished and with it went the clarity but I will always remember it. I do have a spirit guide but I didn't even know what that was but during my dreams I get messages from the same deeper male voice and he tells me what to do or gives me hints on a direction in life and I blindly follow it and he has been right every time. I had severe heart palpitations and I complain to my husband about it constantly but when I went to the doctor they couldn't detect it. So one night I heard this voice again and he told me you have to stop this one thing. He didn't even say what it was but when I woke up I knew it was caffeine. I guess my body didn't like the seven or eight cups of extremely strong coffee haha and all heart palpitations stopped with that😅

    Love how she explained having felt like she needed to be worthy to be loved by God and that was erased once she had her experience. It makes me sad that religion has people feeling unloved by God when that is so far from the truth.

    • @trojan403
      @trojan403 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Her need to be loved by God was because of a faulty belief about God that she adopted as a child, when her father died. She at the time chose to believe that God didn't love her enough in order to hear her prayers. It had nothing to do with her religion. Her religion (Christian like mine) would have told her that God loved her and she's worthy of God's love (as Christianity does) but she may still believed inside that she was unworthy of his love, so she did certain religious 'things' not because she was loved by God and was expressing it (which is how it is supposed to be) but because she was trying to 'earn' his love. Don't be so quick to blame religion when a lot of the time it's a persons faulty belief system about themselves (or God) even when they are in a religion that tells them the exact opposite of their faulty belief systems.

    • @DeBa-122
      @DeBa-122 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am leaving the Christian religion as I also believe you don’t have to be baptized or be born again to enter Heaven. All her relatives that she saw hadn’t been. Gods love is unconditional for ALL as well as the afterlife!!! I’m so done with religion and most of the people who don’t reflect the unconditional heart of God to each other let alone those seeking because of the pressure to act and do what is espoused in order to be accepted/fit in etc . Sad to say but the truly lost/down & out & those struggling to overcome strongholds are better off not walking into a Christian church these days. People form cliques, gossio, judge each other & are no better than the so called “unsaved” The hypocrisy is TOXIC
