He switched from english to bisaya without any difficulties is very incredible! hhahaha I am a native bisaya speaker but can't even follow what he's singing hahaha but sounded so freakin gud. Felip is sooo bold coz no Filipino artist will release this type of album! That made us appreciate him more.❤❤❤❤
Remember these were not freestyle so they were easier to express b'coz the lyrics were all written down. So switching languages were smoothly done . It's like you when you learn somebody else's song, you learn the lyrics.
Nonetheless, Felip is a beast. His songwriting is topnotch & he loves his craft. Hopefully, he would stay grounded.
OHHH my goodness DaMien (esp OMEN II) is my ultimate fave horror film. I even bought the paperbacks.
@@MiaNurseres-id2ex Just because it's written doesn't mean he doesn't deserve the praise for the smooth switch in between languages. There are a lot of artists who switches in between at least two languages in a songs but not everyone is fluid in it. That is definitely something to do with the lyricism as well as the diction and pronunciation in the delivery of the song. I am a Bisaya myself, listens to kpop as well and when it comes to OPM where i am most critical when it comes to the use of the English language in those releases. Even with just a slight cringe on these 3 things (lyricism, diction & pronunciation) turns me off and I just have to say that Felip definitely nails these three in all of his songs.

Marilyn is a fake fan who bashed Felip at a PPOP convention event. Felip posted it on social media with the caption "LOL crazy Marilyn." I think Marilyn, in the song PRIDE, represents the people who shame Bisaya people like Felip, calling them ignorant and uneducated, and making various derogatory claims. Felip used words that were funny and petty, The song's title "Pride" suits the song perfectly.

As I understand,his FOES are the 7 sins. That is why it has to be the first track.This album may be his story.Then the last track is ACHE as he was able to surrender all his flaws to God. Ur right, Felip can do 3 personas in 1 song. His very good at that. Thats why he is known as a unique, versatile, multi talented artist. He can switch from one tone to another quite easily coz his vocal range is insane.

Felip indeed did a great job in creating this masterpiece of him. The hard work he put in this project really paid off with all the praises he received not just from his followers but non followers as well. And d good news is, on day 1 of the album release, it rank 6th in ITUNES top 200 albums worldwide , top 1 in several countries and has entered and ranked in a number of counntries and kept on rising. It made history in cdJapan coz cds got sold out. It received positive reviews from all reactors including MC. So let me thank u guys for always supporting Felip and SB19.
This album had been playing on repeat with me since it dropped. What is amazing is that this type of music is really not My usual cup of tea, but this artist has captivated my interest and made me widen my taste in music.

Same here. I am not used to this kind of heavy, hard-hitting beats, but it surprises me that I ended up vibing to it and liking it. It seems like there's a secret recipe that only Felip can provide. It's uniquely different. Foes is now one of my faves of Felip's songs.

I've always said this, Ken as a capricorn, is always climbing up and up like the G.O.A.T that he is. He is one filipino artist who will keep taking the risk in changing the sound of the usual OPM and I am proud of him for doing that! Him and Pablo are always cooking up something, may it be as sb19 members or solo artists, they never fail to surprise us 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼 i always call ken as my best boi since he is second to my bias, Pablo, but all in all he always delivers and i love that for him 💯

It is also amazing that He can do all these things without formal musical training. The most amazing thing is that it is not only him In their Group. Josh is also one good writer. Justin is also emerging as one. They are one talented Group talaga.

Many people thought SLOTH equates to laziness, though its actually much deeper than that. Its when you lose faith (wether your faith in higher being or someone or anything) you lose the will to live thus result to laziness to do anything anymore.

And thanks to your inputs, I now get why Ep is an “extended play”, because yeah, the whole album is meant to be played in one sitting - from song #1 to #9. “Ache” became more meaningful & more impactful because Felip took us to that denouement song after song after song (sin after sin after sin). He was building this angst then we get to the climax, “slothing” and finally “aching”.
“Ache” is hurting & breaking after all the sinning, but then, comes also healing & redemption, a glimmer of hope that everything’s gonna be alright.
This is such an experience.

The picture is Archangel Michael fighting Satan (who was also an archangel but rebelled against God). depicted in the chapter of Revelations of the Holy Bible. Our Felip is quite a religious guy. The last track which is Ache is so emotional and painful but with a ray of hope in the end so it is a fitting last track. Best concept ever. Thank you for the review. You are much appreciated. In addition he switches from English to his 1st language "Bisaya", it makes him say the words with more feelings

Its hard to follow some of his songs if you dont have the lyrics in english translation as some of it is in bisaya dialect. Hope you guys checked out these in felip yt visualizers, the lyrics are savage af.
Pride is for Marilyn his basher who bashed him while his doing his live.. he was bashed because his bisaya and Felip is thanking him because he gives Felip a new lyrics..
One of my fave reactors! Thank you for reacting to the entire album and for always supporting Felip and SB19 as a whole. 7Sins is all about the human experience. The highs and lows of it. The emotions we have to deal with in life as human beings. My top faves are: Ache, Lust, Greed, Sloth, and Pride!
Pride is actually about him expressing his Bisaya/Bisdak pride and it featured one of his bashers Marilyn, who commented on Felip's social media about his short hosting segment at PPOP Con last year, because he was all shy, as we all know he's more of an introvert and doesn't really talk much.
She trash-talked him about how he acted so ignorant, looking down on him being Bisaya, and that he's embarrassing. So Felip thanked her for giving him an idea to use for his lyrics. The way he dissed her was so funny!
The chorus is also very catchy and witty. "Bai na Bai pero di makasabay" ((you say)I'm really Bai but (you) can't keep up (with me) or get to (my) level.) Bai means bro in Bisaya but some people from the city/Tagalogs, who think Bisaya are inferior, use the term Bai as an insult to mean someone is tacky, cheap, ignorant, primitive, uncivilized, or anything negative. Felip has always been proud of his Bisaya roots. This is a diss track for all those Bisaya haters in general.

You should react the ones with the lyrics instead of just listening into it. You will appreciate it more since he also uses Bisaya in most of his songs. But thank you for reacting into it.
