Absolutely lovely Michelle. Looks really good on you and such pretty fabric. I always enjoy your sewalongs, they’re both interesting and informative. Thank you x
I really like how you show how to edit the pattern using 2 sizes..I’m top heavy and narrow hips so this is a big help for a newbie sewing clothes. So glad I found you
I just found your channel and was pleased to see that you do patterns that are not a tunic or tunic dress. I can sew a dress that is "bag dress" easily. I do look forward to seeing others do the big pattern companies more involved patterns where a few tips and tricks to making it can be used. THANK YOU!
Yay, a sew along!! Thank you Michelle, I love your tips and hints! I put my sleeves in on the flat too, I find it much easier. I also hem on the flat, but stop just short of the side or back seams, then fold the ends in when I do the sides (if that makes sense)! ❤
Haya. Fantastic 😀Your sew alongs are wonderful, 'sew' clear, concise & fun. Stunning fabric, I knew it would "fly" out of stock immediately 🐦I have the same print in my store, however it is fleece back 😀Thanku 'sew' much for sharing. xx 🪡✂🧵🤗
Hi Michelle. Just watched your sew along. What a lovely top you made fantastic . Funnily enough I have that pattern and was going to try it for myself, but just haven't got round to it. You have inspired me to try it. ❤❤
Michelle, I have a question. Do the "Big 4" use meters on their patterns in England? I live in US and Big 4 here use yards which are 36 inches and a meter is about 39 inches. That may be the difference in why it seems they are generous in the yardage. Just a thought...
You could do, I find it easier with jersey to just fold it twice. The other thing would be to iron on some stretch interfacing and that would help make it easier to fold if you are getting waves hems x
It is a gorgeous blouse! I have had TERRIBLE luck with the stretchy fabrics... down right DISASTERS. I am at that point where all the stretchy knits are going into a "time out" box and may ended up purged from my life. I love that others can manage them so well.
@@SewingBunny OH it's everything... binding up seams, stretching out necklines, ocean wave hems. I know it's learning the tension but I have ruined so much fabric trying that I am completely discouraged. Maybe one day I will try again.
Thank you for such an easy sew along! You are a natural teacher. The fabric is beautiful. I'm looking forward to the next video.
Ah thank you so much 🥰

Ahh it is lovely to hear you are pleased to see the return of the sew alongs 🥰 that’s a great idea about the hem too 👍 thank you xx
Love the dipped hem, great job Michelle!
Thank you 😊
Hi Michelle, I have the same sewing machine and it doesn't like Maraflex thread at all. It also prefers Organ needles. Great sewalong.
Ah good to know! It seemed ok when I changed the needle again so hopefully that does the trick 🤞

Yes they do, on the left side of the packet is English with yards and on the right side is french but with the measurements as metres 😁
Hi, could you fold the hem up once and sew before folding the second cm, then sew again?
You could do, I find it easier with jersey to just fold it twice. The other thing would be to iron on some stretch interfacing and that would help make it easier to fold if you are getting waves hems x

Oh no 🫣 is it mainly with things getting stretched out like neckbands and hems? Stretch interfacing is really helpful if that’s your main issue x
