Excited to see Nick Gill on coverage! He's at a lot of our local tourneys, wearing the coolest shirts, and his dad Ken was the guy on the PDGA logo for years and years until they changed it recently. I was lucky enough to be paired up with Ken and many other Michigan legends on some cards back in the day because they used to mix first round cards with ams and pros at our big state-level tourneys and I feel lucky to have been a fly on the wall watching some of the best players back then in this fashion, something that'll likely never happen again. Oh, and the amazing Blue Gill private course is owned by Nick's uncle Joe! Lots of Michigan vibes here this week with Nick and Luke Taylor on coverage, love it!
For sure. I work outside, fish, play disc golf my whole life. Always wear hats, gaiter, etc. A lot of the hardcore guys who fish for life get skin cancer on the ears. The ears are often overlooked.

Should Cale and crew think about moving hole 9 closer to the waters edge? As they discussed the water doesn't come in to play, or it makes the hole easier.
I keep saying it every year, y’all gotta come up with a graphic that shows the distance these guys are throwing their drives. It would help create context for how hard the holes are and how far apart the pros are from the members of the amateur ranks like me.

I obviously watch both Live and Post because I love the commentary from the players and their thoughts on the round. Though, 20 days later??? Looks to me like they may be slowly fading out post coverage, IMO. I hope I am wrong.

Go watch a muted round without commentary if you don’t want them doing there job. These guys are too 3 in commentary and if you want to learn something you might want to pay attention

Before, it just seemed like Innova did their greedy thing, and the DGPT did their greedy thing. Now the greed might finally be infiltrating everywhere. Jomez got a taste with the partnership and now is starting to give in, only a few months after their assurance that their fans can "continue to enjoy next day coverage for free..." Sad day. If you do choose to wait until August 8th to support the sport but not the business, just know that you aren't alone!
