Found one of these at a thrift store for $15 - Thank you so much for uploading this video. The instruction manual wasn't in very good condition, and this explains it better, actually.
I had this machine and it was better (but noisier) than tons of other machines. It is nearly 2025 and Phillips has just reissued the same design again. The big trick was letting it dry out and then brushing it clean before washing it out. That was great for those of us who love letting the dishes pile up in the sink.
I totally forgot how loud this infomercial was. I thought for a moment my hearing was actually going bad because I could not hear them over the machines.

I bought one of these recently (a vintage model off CL), and LOVE the thing. It really is that easy, and while I'm sure it will indeed break someday, OMG - cheap, healthy, awesome-tasting pasta in minutes. Seriously worth it. And the kids think it's a blast, too. ;)
I tried calling the number to purchase one for the hell of it, but the cell center that handles these "seen on tv" products told me they had never heard of it. Missed my chance!
This was always my favorite infomercial when I was a kid. We did not have cable or satelite so when this one came on I always watched it, and always wanted this maker. Memories.
In my opinion, the early 90's was the golden age of 30-minute infomercials. This one was from 1993. I'm still waiting for someone to post the "Super Slicer" infomercial with Mike Levy.
Ron: "DUMP IT IN! DUMP IT IN!" Nancy: "DON'T TALK TO ME! DUMP IT IN!" Audience laughs. God, how I miss watching these informercials as entertainment back in the 1990's!
holy crap, I loved this infomercial. I never missed it when it was on and what, nearly 12 years later, I saw it was on tv about a month ago. I was shocked
When "Nancy" asks Ron why he's using spinach juice, you can just see the hatred on his face as he clamors for an answer..."ahh! color..nutrients...". In reality, he's thinking "just fucking stand there, Nancy! It's my infomercial! MINE! If I wanna use spinach, I will! And I don't have to have a reason!"
I actually owned this product! I used it for eight years until it refused to turn on anymore. I liked it. :) Oh, pasta with minced onion will not go through the angel hair pasta thingie. And the chocolate pasta was just gross.
For those of us who grew up without cable or internet, infomercials like this were a great part of entertainment. R.I.P Ron Popeil.
Nothing like a Sunday afternoon to watch all those amazing Ron Popeil informercials! I love this men sales style
Idk why I watched the entire thng. But Emmy said I should check it out. ._.

8:32 "that's an Automatic Cutoff!" you just turned it with your hand, Ron. That's a "manual cutoff"
Like having a manual automatic transmission in a car... lolol

Lol
I used to love watching that with my mom and told her we need it.
Lol
Ditto!
Interesting how Ron starts out so quiet and laid back, but by the end of the infomercial he's screaming and really on edge.
I know it's 14 yrs old comment but I'm going anyway....Ron is like that cause his that co host is an absolute moron
I bought one of these recently (a vintage model off CL), and LOVE the thing. It really is that easy, and while I'm sure it will indeed break someday, OMG - cheap, healthy, awesome-tasting pasta in minutes. Seriously worth it. And the kids think it's a blast, too. ;)
That classic tv program Ron Popeil Pasta Maker on tv brings back my childhood memories when I was a 7 year old kid
I tried calling the number to purchase one for the hell of it, but the cell center that handles these "seen on tv" products told me they had never heard of it. Missed my chance!
0:51 the olive oil must have a purpose here LMFAO
The black guy at 2:53 is amazed but he aint gonna buy this shit LMAO I miss the 90's

Lol
I used Glenfedick scotch instead of spinach juice and damed near burned down my cardboard refrigerator box, which I was living in at the time.
The lady is so cute !! She is supportive and nice . I’ll bet she was a great mom
Emmy made me curious lol
When they had like 8 running at once ot was loud as heck lol
How many people in my audience have vegetable juice extractors?
EVERYONE (including a hesitant Nancy) raises hand.
Ron: You do, you do..
👀😐😐
🖐️✋🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️🙋
8:42 - nice cut to the audience for the Ronco Food Dehydrator :P
This was always my favorite infomercial when I was a kid. We did not have cable or satelite so when this one came on I always watched it, and always wanted this maker. Memories.
In my opinion, the early 90's was the golden age of 30-minute infomercials. This one was from 1993. I'm still waiting for someone to post the "Super Slicer" infomercial with Mike Levy.
gfalcon I think it's on here
"You cannot make any mistakes with it."
Me: **pours in half a gallon of oil**
Ron: YOU IDIOT!!
LOL That made me laugh
I remember this being the first infomercial I’ve been exposed to as a kid. Fond memories.
Lies
this is the first infomercial I legit enjoyed watching
We're in the middle of a pandemic and still ain't no body makin' pasta.
The king of the infomercials
"You cannot make a mistake. WAIT... Let me turn it to mix before you pour that in..."

Ron: "DUMP IT IN! DUMP IT IN!"
Nancy: "DON'T TALK TO ME! DUMP IT IN!"
Audience laughs.
God, how I miss watching these informercials as entertainment back in the 1990's!
You officially just made my Sunday.
“Why spinach juice?”
Ron: “because I like the color, the nutrients ... (implied) any other stupid questions?”
Hahahhaha!
That "ok" sounded pretty condescending.
@@61Slughi lol it sure did!
"And it's quiet too!"

ACT1O1 A bit quieter too, I imagine.
I love only the food infomercials, especially this one. dont ask me why, but I like to watching cook stuff
holy crap, I loved this infomercial. I never missed it when it was on and what, nearly 12 years later, I saw it was on tv about a month ago. I was shocked
Loved this infomercial when this came out, maybe 1998? Always wondered how well this worked.
I remember it from 1992 or 93.
Ron is incredible
When "Nancy" asks Ron why he's using spinach juice, you can just see the hatred on his face as he clamors for an answer..."ahh! color..nutrients...". In reality, he's thinking "just fucking stand there, Nancy! It's my infomercial! MINE! If I wanna use spinach, I will! And I don't have to have a reason!"
Whisper quiet too
steaminsteve I was shocked at how quiet it actually is

LOLOLOLOLOL You're right, look at the co-host looking at the machine like something has gone horribly wrong hahaha.
His voice is almost ASMR'ish to me

Obsessed
I loved these infomercials! I'm trying to find his Spray On Hair informercial, it was by far the best.

Question: How many times would you use this machine if you bought it?
I actually owned this product! I used it for eight years until it refused to turn on anymore. I liked it. :) Oh, pasta with minced onion will not go through the angel hair pasta thingie.
And the chocolate pasta was just gross.
"I've invented this container to measure the flour. I call it a cup."
