24-7 Spyz! I remember seeing the band at the "Graffiti" club Pittsburgh PA 1980 something? I was only Black person in the audience of course, and they tore shit up! Got a 12" single"John Connelly's theory"signed by all the band. Great interview yo '👍🤘
i've been a fan of 24-7 spyz since their first album and in 1989 with them and living color , fishbone and the emergence of the black rock coalition it seemed black rock was primed to give hip hop some serious competition , myself and my band was apart of that movement then it seemed the industry did it's best to kill the movement and next thing you know gangster rap took over ; but it's great to know the band is still going , keep the grove going fellas .
Social Plague, Spill My Guts, Pillage, those songs are EPIC! please understand that I don't listen to mosh pit music, but the shyt 247-Spyz plays make me want to pick up my instruments and GET GOOD!!
I was raised on jazz and R&B, then discovered metal and became obsessed with it. Jimi Hazel was the one who brought it full circle and showed me that you can add chunky guitar to R&B and it makes perfect sense. That was over 30 years ago. Thanks for having him on! Subscribed.

24-7 Spyz was always overlooked and underrated. They were very skilled musicians who deserved recognition.
They STILL ARE actively writing, recording, giggin' & on tour in Amsterdam this month! HMS4L🤘🏾✊🏾
