Few of my takeaways from this track- -> This track seems to have potential to give good racing when combined with the 2026 cars... Based on the assumptions if both work as they are expected 🙄 -> In terms of elevation, it is a mix of zandvoort, cota and spa -> The twisty section gives me Hanoi vibes -> It is tiringly long and the tyre deg is gonna be worse than Qatar -> The first and the last sector looks really flowy -> From this lap we can say it is not good enough to replace jeddah(based on the racing action we have seen so far) -> This track could also turn out as setup menace due to so much mixture Lastly, can you tell what was the lap time there, for reference
Idk mate, 70ft of elevation? Did they considered the safety of this turn? Thats some ridiculous idea, besides lots of blind corners too. I dont think this exemple of the track will be the final shape

Maybe the FIA will introduce in 2028 for the first time in F1 history mandatory parachutes fit to each car (or attached to the pilots, let’s see how each team approach this new safety feature, especially knowing that traditional chutes do not generate enough lift in such a tight time window. Who will cope best with such technical challenges?

This looks like a mario kart built for F1, doesn't seem like there is any overtaking zones except for T1, the rest is just there for 'Yea this looks cool' and to please the investors. However, given how terrible the saudi's have been going with their lavish projects *ahem the line ahem* I doubt we will get T1 as high as that

T1 is logistical nightmare if someone crashed. It is on a bridge, it has no escape route. It would take a very long time to transport equipment and personnel up there.
Watching this I am just so fucking scared of a car getting airbourne in a freak accident and launching itself off the Turn 1 platform I know catchfences have held basically anything for decades now, but guardrails also hadnt been penetrated for decades until the Grosjean freak accident.
They should only recreate Trail Mountain, and that's it;) TBH they miss huge opportunity to place stands near T1, which for sure will be one of key overtake spot. But F1 now is more about TV than experience on track.
It’s got a remarkable amount of character if that undulation is somewhat accurate; looks like a great track to me, the middle sector looks like a Laguna Seca-esque rollercoaster and there are plenty of overtaking opportunities. Turn one should probably be toned down though, but I understand the spectacle.
My only problem is 1. Its a street circuit(im fine with layout, I just dont like the city tight walls part of it. 2. T1 is horrifically dangerous and crazy But the concept and general idea of the rest of the track seems great,looks like a street version of cota
So to summarise, many knock-off versions of multiple famous sections of racetrack, and a T1 of death. A Mark Webber-style crash there is going to end in tears, 100%
And yet - look at the most iconic and best loved circuits on the calendar. Interlagos is tightly compacted. Spa is beautifully flowing. Suzuka makes incredible use of tight space. Silverstone is flat but flowing. Bigger isn't necessarily better.
Dude, the elevation of turn 1 is LITERALLY BUILT ON STILTS, like there's support beams purposefully just for that elevation. I dont think that that will be in the real track tho, way too optimistic and ambitious
Turn 1: if someone flys high enough they will fly over wall and fall to there death no matter what. So basically no to turn 1 yes to basically everything else tbh. Just make turn 1 a normal turn 1 that is not lifted up into the sky at all by things that could fail at there job
I swear to god if they’re going to have 2 races in Saudi Arabia I’m going to lose it. This is going too far now. That sector 2 is atrocious. Never mind the blatant breaching of the FIA’s track length limits (in place to make sure medical teams are always within sufficient reach), just continue bending over to people who use F1 as an OPEC networking event.
This track was supposed to be the track where they would race Saudi Arabia GP, but it wasn't finished so they made Jeddah as a temporary track until Qiddaya is finished
After all these years of lackluster street circuits, they are finally building a new, somewhat purpose-built racetrack with a slightly interesting layout (though I feel like it lacks real overtaking opportunities except for the last few corners and the first corner). I would've been really happy about that if… 1. It weren't in Saudi Arabia, 2. If it wouldn't have that ridiculous elevation change into the first corner, and 3. if it wouldn't look like a track that has serious potential of bringing us the next F1 fatality.
This is like the most aggressively B tier track ever. There’s a couple great corners (I really like 1-3 in particular) but most of the rest just looks unremarkable
I’ve had many years of practice recreating f1 crashes so I know how to work within the F1 game limits. Takes a lot of time and patience but it’s definitely worth the result. Probably won’t see any new recreations for a while as I’m taking a break from them but hope this helped answer the question 🤝

Ngl other than the ridiculous T1 this track kinda sucks. Way too many negative camber corners and they're all so awkward and slow. One thing Jeddah has going for it is the flow is very good, even if it is a fatality waiting to happen with all the blind corners.

The width of this circuit kills the atmosphere, unlike the width of Sepang which is quite balanced
