- www.motorbeam.com tests the Honda BR-V which is the only 7-seater SUV in its segment. The vehicle which is nothing but a Mobilio underneath, is targeted at the Hyundai Creta and Renault Duster. The Honda BR-V shares its engines with the Mobilio and City but gets a 6-speed gearbox for the petrol manual version.
The Honda BR-V is offered with both petrol and diesel engines and gets the dashboard from the Amaze. The petrol powered BR-V is fun to drive while the diesel model has better NVH than before.

Nice review. Proud owner of Petrol BRV S tream. In city it give 13 kmpl and on highways its about 17 kmpl. Best family car

BR-V is better, the Xylo's heavy weight puts it at a disadvantage.

Team Motorbeam, request you to state it as it is- a Mobilio with higher ground clearance, not a SUV. It is a good alternative to the Lodgy/Innova/Ertiga, although the new Innova Crysta takes it to another segment altogether. It is not a rough-road capable SUV like the Duster/AWD, Scorpio/Storme

i have booked BR-V with V diesel variant. as you said in the review its very good & practical car for some who is looking for good crossover & mid size & range suv. i am planning to add multi touch system with rear camera as an accessories. but than also i am saving huge amount compare to creta on road which i was actually planning before this launched. thanks for your review.

If I forget about Mobilio for a moment, I am really liking the car. Not the Best, but not that bad if Honda price it correctly. 7 seats, 210 mm ground clearance would be differentiator. 210 mm GC is really good while handling is on better side.

Even if they have mobilio RS with same looks and performance ,so why honda made another mobilio looking MPV no one want that extra 2seats in compact suv and with out sensors and camera ,even the steering is taken from older honda city versions...not expected in such a competative market.

Lodgy or Brv?(Diesel) Which has smooth engine performance and lots of space for carrying loads? I wouldn't bother about the variants..Budget is under 12lakhs
Honda BR-V is more expensive and has relatively lesser space than the Lodgy.
