I guess it is tanzanite blue. Very dark but shiny metallic blue. Costs 2000 $ and it is individual color. Looks awesome with ivory white leather interiors.

We have a 530i at home, but it is a 2001. But it’s still dang quick and that s6 engine is sooo smooth when putting your foot down

Fun fact; in my F15 speedo stops at 263kmh. Tuned 50i to 542hp, measured to 276kmh on GPS before having to slow down
The tuners have already gotten hands on these. Stage 2 numbers are 0-100 in 3.2 and 100-200 in low 7's.. Can't wait to do that to ours lol. Gonna kill quite a few cars in 1/4 mile

Here in germany a lot of people launch their cars like that, it wasn’t stupid as he was there waiting for traffic to clear while leaving space for ppl entering the autobahn.

A real pity this is exclusive to Europe and the U.S. Really hope they bring this car to Australia, New Zealand and the rest of the world. Would love to own one in the future but guess I'll have to settle for a 540i :(

Don't need to test it. Look Backwards to see the Future. They do every time the same. Audi, Mercedes, BMW build nearly the same cars. Merc little bit more comfortable, audi better innovation and design and BMW better on the track. Merc has every time more torque. BMW lowest torque but lightest car as same horsepower. And Audi heavier than BMW but better straight line Acceleration just a little bit or even same. These things never will change.
It means the BMW M5 F90 will do 0-200 in about 10 seconds. 🙂
I would say the rs7 will do 0-200 under 10 seconds because of innovation on acceleration like electric Turbochatger or so.

CrayonHD not really, the highest speed I've ever driven was about 245kph. In modern cars like this driving fast is not really special.
But I also know people who wouldn't be able to drive that fast because they think that they are not safe.

That's a real problem on the Autobahn.. You have to react fast and your car should have good brakes, if not, you should pray....
No, not at all. Those cars are built for that, so it still feels very smooth and precise at high speeds. And you always have the feeling of driving much much slower than you actually are.. e.g. driving at 80kmh with a bmw 5 series, you feel like let's open the door and go for a walk :)
Sleeper 40km/h on Autob would've been worse. For cars like this, 250km/h is nothing. One hand will do.

How does this car differ from an M5 exept from price and exhaust, both have the 4.4 V8 biturbo right? Is the M5s ECU just mapped differently for more power/torque?

Also, it's not just BMW. Many other manufacturers reduce their cost by being lazy and make the same crap at different sizes because buyers nowadays don't really care, it seems.

And Yes, of course you are right by saying that it seems lazy to equip many models with very similar looking interiors. On the other hand, imo this somehow saves the "spirit" of the manufacturer, if you know what I mean :)

261 km/hr top speed LIMITER is a shame for this twin-turbo V8. Even 4 cylinder cars like Type R, WRX STI, Golf R, Focus RS are reachable to 280 km/hr.
