If you really expected something better from a community that gatekeeps subgenres of metal... then i don´t know what to tell you.
Like, i love metal and all, but sometimes the community can be absolute doo-doo caca. It´s why i only stick to music and rarely watch metal news.
extra note: Some bands and band members cook up drama as well. If you really think about it the metal scene ain´t as different as the pop groups they like to shit on.

Man it’s bittersweet Jordan leaving cuz it’s understandable; the guy has a family and wants to focus on that at the moment. Of course it’s a major blow to fans since he was instrumental and a huge factor for BMTH creating true masterpieces of music. The guy is just phenomenal. No drama here man! Ppl acting like something nefarious was going on smh 🤦‍♂️ chiiiiilllll

Jordan played a really big part in making bmth famous worlwide and among the younger generation..and is still creating masterpieces for Architects and other bands..its kind of sad he's not part of bmth anymore, and I hope one day they will collaborate again

Didnt he say he just wanted more time with his family. Idk why yall looking for drama lol. It became too much of his life, Like Oli said they wrote nonstop. He didnt have time for his family and the band was probably draining his mental health because of it. So even if they had a "falling out" I doubt its anything big

I’m excited to see what Jordan does in the future, I’m excited to see how the rest of BMTH does moving forward with all they learned from Jordan. They existed before him and they will exist after him, but I do think his presence will be missed both in the studio and in the live performances, but I believe in this band.
The one thing I worry about is if they start to lose their self-produced edge :/ but I have faith

Jordan becoming part of the band definitely made them as big as they are today. I think he probably wanted more compensation possibly also more control and it was denied. So he felt used again like oli is describing from his past band. I’ll still listen and support both mixing friendship and business is always tricky but hopefully they’ll make up at some point.

I hope they both absolutely thrive in whatever they choose to do. I'm thankful to have become a fan during the beginning of Jordan's tenure with Sempiternal. Still one of my favorite albums of all time, and everything they made after that were masterpieces in their own way. Nex Gen was another one of my favorite albums, so I'm not too worried about the band's future. I'm absolutely sure that whatever Jordan does on his own will be just as great, and I'm living for it. He has already shown he can do it when he helped Architects put out one of their best singles in years. I doubt that'll be a full-time partnership, but if it is, I'm definitely a big fan of that. All love though. They both still have incredibly bright futures. ❤️🤙

(this is just a theory) I think Oli is holding some things to his chest but is indirectly telling us 75% of the truth in that Jordan got used to being the main or half of the main writing and musical driving force in his projects but maybe not getting the "full financial credit" or respect he felt he deserved for it. I think when BMTH started doing better and better commercially after his contributions, he started to feel like he wanted to "Stand up for himself" the way he maybe felt he didn't in the past in his other projects, in that "if I'm the one doing most of or half the work I should get more credit" but BMTH has always been a family where they shared everything equally, money, attention, credit, all of it.
I think Oli may be softening the delivery of that in saying "we unknowingly distanced ourselves" but I think while it wasn't intentional it was conscious that Oli and Jordan were writing most things. I think the split was where Oli still wanted them all to be accredited and paid equally, but Jordan might've wanted more financially, being that he may've been contributing more. Especially with Jordan having become a dad not that long ago.
I dont think the split was necessarily contemptuous as when Oli talks about it he seems more sad and a bit wounded or reminiscent, but I think words were said and heads probably did but and he likely did take up for Lee and the gang and Jordan felt maybe taken advantage of and exclude again where they felt like we were a family long before you and you're either sort of with us or against us and Oli and Jordan made their respective choices that lead to Jordan leaving. Old chose his brothers and Jordan feeling betrayed probably chose himself and his family and left to feel more "appreciated." But I have no idea. Just what I think from what I've heard, the timelines, and deductive reasoning.

Agree. Jordan made bmth what they are, taking what Oli said in this clip, it sounds like Jordan and Oli got too tight together and steered the band forward, leaving the other guys to the wayside, probably some jealousy but Jordan wised up and asked for his fair share and the band said no.
