I have an ID4 for 9 months now, best decision I've ever made, it has a great ride and plenty of power, and it only has one motor. I drive 40 miles a day to work (20 miles each way), I charge it on Monday and don't recharge until Saturday morning. People who complain against electric cars are probably because they never owned one and are probably afraid of change just like I was. I'm so happy with mine. Can't wait to upgrade to the ID5 when my lease is up.
Or people who complain about EVs are people who drive way more than a measley 40 miles a day. I have an EV (Tesla M3) and it's still nowhere near as good as an ICE, range-wise. I drive way more, and in the winter you lose approximately 15-20% of your capacity which is quite significant. The world isn't black and white like you try to portray :-)
Absolutely wonderful gear. In essence it's toys for big boys. Expensive, complex, 21st century bling for those with every thing who just want disgustingly more. I feel sorry for their need to feed compulsion. I am going to vomit.
The question is do you have 60000 dolar to buy it? if yes,enjoy...... But what will happened when 2 month after you buy VW are makig a new car? you will want that too, right.......
Do wipes come with the infotainment screen? Like most cars nowadays, there seem to be an awful lot of cheap looking plastics in and around the vehicles. Particularly the bumpers and grill. Not to carmakers, if its electric, just forget about the grill. Take a note from Tesla, the king of the electric car. I also hate cars with integrated head rests. They don't belong on anything other than a pure sports cars. Not to mention they wall off the rear seat passenger into a claustrophobic cocoon. As for that piano black, it needs to die a slow and painful death. Lets replace that door wedge with a nice padded fabric covered arm rest. On the bright side, I do appreciate the extra thigh support though. That's a godsend when you're 6'4 and long legs like me. Anyway, thank for showing us the car.
I reviewee the Volkswagen ID5 and other related electric cars like the Skoda Enyaq RS coupe! I can confirm they are desirable, but not for value for money!
I just don't get it. 99% of electric cars I've seen have no frunk. The luggage space is even worse than classic petrol engine models. Almost as if it's done on purpose. I guess that's one of the reasons Tesla sales are increasing in Europe (even though interior quality etc is sub par compared to the german brands - or even french brands).

I’ve got a Volkswagen electric transporter which all the professional reviews on TH-cam by car journalist said was fantastic, the reality is the Volkswagen electric transporter is by far the worst van in the world. There is over a 50% performance difference from +10° and to below 10°, absolutely shocking performance from the battery. If you’re using a super charge it will cost you £16.50 to get less than 50 miles electric charge out of these Volkswagen electric vehicles absolutely shocking performance and then Volkswagen will lie to you. When you try to raise it as an issue Volkswagen will tell you that unless there is a technical fault then everything is as it should be. Watch out for the watchdog report on Volkswagen.
Omg this is so beautiful VW. BMW's and their ugly obnoxious grills are so ugly. I'll take this all day, any day. Great job VW, The lack of front trunk is kind of lazy though.
