Very good and honest review of this particular boat and how you have figured out the deeper bracket . Good to see you back. And look forward to future adventures
Thank you for an honest review - subbed to your channel now. Refreshing to have independent well constitutions rather than media companies who are effectively agents for manufacturers.
Thanks for the comment Lee. I have done a minor update since this video (I think it was part 37) saying I was getting some water ingress into the battery compartment. Not major, but something to bare in mind when storing the boat after use.
Just back from a fishing trip and said to my wife thinking of getting a baitboat. I love ridgemonkey so went straight away to look at what they had. Great review and answered many questions for me especially havin the deeper on the front reckon that my mind made up
Great to see you in a video again Paul , Happy New year to you and yours' . The review is great fella , we're all guilty of buying gear straight off a new brands video showcasing a product but the ins and outs are generally skipped or missed and all we see is the polished premiere video . Loved the review and you've really shown a detailed user review of a good priced product with a couple of well thought out tweaks you've added a huge edge to your fishing armoury when using the boat. Tight Lines for 2023 🤞🎣🤞 Steve M
Timing is perfect, seriously considering going against he grain myself this year but am like a kid in a sweet shop with all the boats on offer. Thanks for that and good to see you back on the old hi tech goggle box. Keep on Keepin on!
Great to see you back and looking well. Great review on the bait boat, potential problems and solutions. As for dropping the lead, could you not use a little bit of PVA tape to prevent the lead releasing. Looking forward to your future videos.
I made an arm with the hole centres at 66mm. I also fix a lanyard from the top fixing on the Deeper to the boat handle to stop the Deeper from tipping down too low.
I’ve just finished a trip where I used the boat into big winds with gusts up to 60 mph and the resulting heavy chop to a range of 20 wraps and it was very difficult to keep in a straight line both out and back. It also will need a hopper cover making when I use pva balls as a lot of water comes over the bow. How it compares to others I don’t really know but if I was to be using it all the time I think I would spend some more money on it. Hope this helps
@@VWJourneymananglingadventures used mine weekend just gone small lake but choppy no water in my batteries but only time will tell thanks for the info are you taking it back to the shop
Nice to see you back paul fella happy new year to you liked the review but I feel you pay high prices for named bait boats I have one will work at 500 m and as a GPS on it two bait hoppers at the side and one at the back for yr rig never let me down yet and cost £164 and a spare battery and bag I can charge bank side hope to see some sessions from you soon 🎣👊💯
@D Ricketts go on to ebay type in baitboats don't know what the price is now think mine was £164 quid has two bait bins one on each side and one at the back for yr rig said its good for 500 yards I've had mine out to 150 with no problems only thing I found was if there's weed floating on the top it gets in the propellers but we'll worth the money I find you pay for the name on the more expensive ones much like anything else really hope this helps you mate
Ridgemonkey did send me a new battery and some gaskets for the battery compartment which has helped. I suspect the new boats will have them fitted. Plus new boats have a ‘home’ setting. May be worth checking updated reviews

At your convenience what arm length do you recommend for the deeper mount. Thank you

Hi where can I get the same bracket please
I got my bracket from customtackle.co.uk
How do feel about the boat now 9 months later after mire use

Changing subject Paul, any piking plans this winter ?
