Nick Mason is playing roto toms with the lighted sticks, named so because you can literally rotate the toms to change the pitch.

They were both the same drummer Nick Mason he just changed sticks, there was another drummer in the Pulse tour but for this it is all Nick's amazing drumming still. Rick Wright on Keyboards was famous for his harmonies with David Gilmour, to hear them at their best checknout Echoes Live from Pompeii parts 1 and 2 they are a bit long but so good, after Rick died David Gilmour never performed Echoes again as he did not want to do the harmonies with anyone else.

I would recommend the same version of Echoes. There is extra emotion in that version from David and Rick. Echoes was always supposed to be a conversation between the two of them and what a final conversation it was!

I think that you may have been asking about ' On The Run ' from the Wall, they played this at the Pulse concert and we had a bed flying over us in the crowd, if you watch the video it's in there, one of the many effects that they put on for us.

Richard Wright does sing back up along with the female singers. Everyone digs the drummer’s glowing sticks and drum pads. NO-ONE reacting to this vision has commented that Nick mason actually spins a drum pad while playing it! Never seen that by any drummer.

Part 8: Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets, 2018-present
This band consists of Nick Mason (Pink Floyd's drummer), Guy Pratt (Pink Floyd's live show bassist, 1987-90 & 1994, David Gilmour's live show bassist, 2006 & 2016), and three other guys. They exclusively play early Pink Floyd songs (i.e., before Dark Side of the Moon).

Regarding the video quality: the official release is called 'Pulse Restored & Re-edited'. Everything else on youtube are videos uploaded by fans.
P.S. Yes there is a Dark Side documentary: it's called 'Classic Albums: The Making Of Dark Side Of The Moon'. It's 50 minutes, but unfortunately it's not of youtube. There is a shorter, 25 min docu on youtube made for the 30th anniversary, but it's not as good.

Roger Waters did almost all of the lyrics for Dark Side of the Moon and Rick Wright wrote a lot of the music so Roger and Rick were the main writers for dark side of the moon. As far as solo work by Roger you definitely have to do the song "Amused to Death" it's brilliant!! It's just a shame David and Roger couldn't have gotten along cuz we the fans got robbed of at least another Dark Side of the Moon and another animal's album both if they could have held there egos at Bay and gotten along!!

Sounds like pops was referring to "On the Run" from Darkside in that movie. If you really want to know what Roger Waters is doing now he is currently on tour in the United States. Probably coming to a town near you. He'll be at the United Center in Chicago next week. He's singing and repurposing many Floyd songs to fit today's themes. There are clips from it on TH-cam... Looks awesome!!@
Roger Waters wrote all the lyrics for "Dark Side of the Moon". However Gilmour sings most of it with some nice harmonies from Keyboardist Richard Wright as you saw here. Wright also composed some of the music. Roger Waters is a brilliant lyricist... But you have to wonder the impact they would have if not for the brilliant musicianship and vocals of David Gilmour, Richard Wright and drummer Nick Mason to Interpret them musically.

Part 3: The Best Years, 1971-75 (Gilmour, Mason, Wright, & Waters)
    - Meddle (1971) - anything from this album. "One of These Days" and "Echoes" are great but I prefer the live versions.
    - Obscured by Clouds (1972) - anything from this album except the last track, "Absolutely Curtains." Pink Floyd had already started recording Dark Side of the Moon when they took a break to write and record this movie soundtrack. The first two tracks "Obscured by Clouds" and "When You're In" go well together. "Childhood's End" might be my favorite song from this album, but it's all good.
    - Dark Side of the Moon (1973) - tied for the greatest album of all time, in my opinion. I like watching the performance of this album on "Pulse" but if I want to listen to it, I prefer the studio version.
    - Wish You Were Here (1975) - tied for the greatest album of all time, in my opinion. Like Dark Side, I prefer the studio versions of these songs over their live versions.

Cool reaction, the album has sold close to 50million units , putting it 3rd place just behind AC/DC Back In Black . Thriller sold over 110 million copies making it no 1 best seller. But Dark Side of the Moon is far superior to both in my opinion.

Part 6: The Gilmour Years, 1987-present (Gilmour, Mason, Wright)
    - A Momentary Lapse of Reason (1987) - for everything on this album, I prefer the live versions on Delicate Sound of Thunder (1988) and Pulse (1994)
    - Poles Apart (from The Division Bell, 1994) - some say the lyrics reference Barrett & Waters, but Gilmour denies it
    th-cam.com/video/5ciWB7VykII/w-d-xo.html
    - Marooned (from The Division Bell, 1994)

    - Lost for Words (from The Division Bell, 1994) - some say the lyrics reference Waters, but Gilmour denies it
    th-cam.com/video/FKROYzWRiQ0/w-d-xo.html
    - The Endless River (recorded 1993 & 2013-14) - essentially outtakes from the recording of Division Bell, with later work by Gilmour and Mason to make it into an uncharacteristically boring album
    - A New Machine Part 1 / Terminal Frost / A New Machine Part 2 (live, 1988)
    th-cam.com/video/oIG5KfJbbsc/w-d-xo.html
    - On the Turning Away (live, 1988)

    - One Slip (live, 1988)
    th-cam.com/video/7a3kwGS5z-8/w-d-xo.html
    - Live in Venice, 1989 - the second to last show of their massive 1987-89 tour was on a barge in Venice and broadcast on TV
    th-cam.com/video/tMlGDGoVttw/w-d-xo.html
    - Live Knebworth, 1990 - their only show in 1990 was one hour at a festival. Some say this concert had the best performance of Comfortably Numb.
    th-cam.com/video/4yTXifXaimk/w-d-xo.html
    - One of These Days (live, 1994) - this is definitely the next one you should do from Pulse. Others to check out from the greatest concert ever include What Do You Want from Me, Learning to Fly, and Take It Back.

    - Arnold Layne (live, 2007) - Gilmour, Mason, and Wright performed the band's first single for their last performance together (Wright died in 2008), at the Syd Barrett Tribute Concert (he had died in 2006)

Part 7: Grandpa Gilmour Solo, 2001-present
    - On an Island (2006) - the theme of this album is relaxing on vacation, essentially. All of the songs on this album are better live, in my opinion.
    - Rattle That Lock (2015) - this is my favorite Gilmour solo album, and it's my wife's favorite Gilmour album altogether (i.e., she enjoys it more than any Pink Floyd album). Every song is great, but the one that deserves special mention is "A Boat Lies Waiting" which is about Rick Wright, who died in 2008. I prefer the studio version.
    th-cam.com/video/hoSCZuX0SwE/w-d-xo.html
    - Coming Back to Life (live, 2001) - a different arrangement than the ones on Pulse and Gdansk
    th-cam.com/video/Ax-ptO_tVeY/w-d-xo.html
    - Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Parts VI-VIII (live, 2001) - live versions of this song usually contain parts 1-3, 5, & sometimes 7, so I enjoy the inclusion of parts 6 & 8 in this one
    th-cam.com/video/Ytwyz-NXGdw/w-d-xo.html
    - Breakthrough (live, 2002) - with Rick Wright
    th-cam.com/video/GW65I5OJrps/w-d-xo.html
    - Castellorizon / On an Island (live, 2006) - with Rick Wright, David Crosby, & Graham Nash
    th-cam.com/video/D8v8mHylVRA/w-d-xo.html
    th-cam.com/video/kEa__0wtIRo/w-d-xo.html
    - High Hopes (live, 2006) - with Rick Wright, this is my favorite version of this song
    th-cam.com/video/6jF6lStgXTI/w-d-xo.html
    - Echoes (live, 2006) - with Rick Wright, this was Gilmour & Wright's last performance of this song, this is also my favorite version of this song
    th-cam.com/video/EMneCi9F_UQ/w-d-xo.html
    - Faces of Stone (live, 2016) - this song is about Gilmour's mother suffering from dementia near the end of her life
    th-cam.com/video/xFai4z9Z5bU/w-d-xo.html
    - Comfortably Numb (live, 2016) - some think this is the best version of this song, I'm personally just amazed that he can still sing and play so well at age 70! Likewise with his performance of other Floyd classics on Live at Pompeii like One of These Days, Sorrow, Run Like Hell, etc.
    th-cam.com/video/eHKG7EMxWW8/w-d-xo.html

There’s no other musician like David Gilmour. Never will be

One of the very few Pink Floyd songs where the live performance is not as good as the studio version. Another is The Great Gig In The Sky with the incomparable vocals of Clare Torry.

Part 4: The Waters Years (1977-83) and Waters' Solo Albums (1984-present)
The classic lineup is still present on Animals (1977) and The Wall (1979), but Rick Wright is absent from The Final Cut (1983). The only songs I care for on those three albums are Gilmour's contributions to The Wall, and I prefer the live versions on Pulse. I'll let the Roger Waters fans give you recommendations for those albums.
The only Roger Waters solo album I enjoy listening to is Radio KAOS (1987). Here's my favorite song on the album, "Home." Again, I'll leave it to the Waters fans to give you recommendations for his solo albums.

Quite logically there must be more musicians at the concert to cover all the sounds of guitars, drums and keyboards. In the studio it was easier - there it was really just Roger, Rick, Nick and David. Complex parts are played on multiple tracks and mixed together...
And Rick Wright also sings on the original studio version. It was a great sin that he wasn't given more space to sing, because he was a very good singer...
By the way - you should have continued - The Great Gig in the Sky follows and is really sung uniquely at this concert. Not as well sung as Clare Torry sang it in 1973 but it is still fabulous! All three vocalists are great! Give it a listen, guys - you'll love it...
About The Dark Dide Of The Moon: it's the second best-selling album in history (about 50 million units) and it stayed in the charts for an incredible 14+ years! No other album has ever surpassed it...

Wow. I never thought about needing the additional musicians to caver all the added tracks. Thanks for sharing that.
We did great gig in the sky for pulse. Let me know if you need the link.

No Roger no PF. Plus here they have like 5 additional people on stage, two drummers, two keyboardists, 3 singers, a bassist and Dave and one more guitarist ( I think). Lyrics are all Roger Waters.

Whoever edited it was off time with the video. Not a good version. I don't like all of these remastered songs because they can't get the time right.
