Why is it that in every media I've ever seen, be it Dungeons and Dragons or Elden Ring etc, poison 'builds' tend to be really weak and mostly relegated to use by evil creatures like goblins and venomous animals.
Because poison in media is related to insidiousness, cowardice, honorless, only the weak would use it to have any chance in a fight Shinobu in Demon Slayer is the weakest Hashira for example
Because... venomous, poisonous animals follow certain trends. Physically strong creatures don't need venom (it is costly substance to produce) and so only smaller creatures use poison to either deter being eaten or venom to guarantee kill on a single strike. And goblins are usually depicted physically inferior so they fit this as well, having to complement their small frame with cunning, aka, use of envenomed/poisonous weaponry.
Would love to see an int/faith hybrid caster with both the death sorceries and golden order incantations, maybe having sword of night and flame for a melee option
Isnt it poetic that the barnished knight (a knight in an order) killed annakin by cutting him down and then burn him to cinders ? Almost as if it was fated so
Love seeing you bring veriety to this games pvp. I'd be super excited to see you show us the limits, of what can be done with the relatively underwhelming Dragon Greatclaw when optimizing for it. Keep up the good work, and merry christmas ^^
would like to see a pure occult build. I've been having ton of luck with the venomous fangs with 80 arcane it does around 480 ap excluding the attack boost from the rot talisman, mush crown and other boost aswell. i almost always get a guaranteed poison proc after about 2 hits which is insanely easy with claws
9:17 when chase dodged that one off-screen lightning spear, a chase voice line automatically played in my head: "I DODGE THROUGH SOUND AND SOUND ALONE"
Have you considered using Raw Meat Dumplings to proc poison? I know they're a pain to farm, but it's one-and-done to poison you, and 50% health could make it a good emerg heal too.
I would love to see a glass cannon dagger build, it may be the hardest build to pull of in the game but also the funniest to play, at least in my opinion.
Yeah, it would be fun and probably Chase is the one to pull this one. But the main focus of a Glass Canon is doing massive damage. Daggers would mostly rely in critical hits to achieve that, and as seen, getting them isnt as good as getting them in DS for examole.
Not really. You can get stupidly high AR with the right builds on some daggers. Like, 900+ on the Erdsteel with a faith builds. If not that, a bleed build does wonders. Dual daggers tend to auto win trades I someone tries to hold their ground.
Ive been using dual straight swords and dual piercing sword builds and my god are they powerful for both pve and pvp. Idk why everyone isnt doing this. Soo strong
If you watch the “Only leveling through PVP” playthrough, you’ll see where he gets most of the items as he kind of builds his PVP “kit” Rather than using a single weapon.
Aha legend! Yeah that worked as well as expected! Thanks for doing one of my prompts! I did see a few people asking for the same. I’d love to see the strength version at some point too. Going forward, still love to see the un-upgraded eclipse shotel on this build, and - I’m curious as to what weapons work best with Phantom Slash. Maybe a variety of weapons all with the slash to compare? Fun invasions today, catch ya in the next one!
What if you did like a weapon boot camp series were you showcase a type of weapon highlighting how to fight with them, best builds, best AOW, strategy, etc... that could be a cool series. Love the tank series tho lets see a tank mage next!
You could take advantage of the physical defense from high strength mixed with 30 faith for black flame protection to really push this to its limits, would love to see that!
I know, that's my biggest problem with his content is that it seems artifical, there's no threat usually. Like even when he's fighting like 4 people he doesn't lose like what does it take to even kill this guy? 10 mages?? Like I've seen him lose in ds3 a bit more often but now it rarely happens. Idk he's the ultimate try hard.
As much as i love the dark souls games, I've honestly never understood the point of invasions other than it just being punishment for summoning cooperators. Its essentially pvpers who are obviously great at pvp fighting against cooperaters who are not pvpers and just trying to coop play. So imvaders naturally will be better players at pvp. As an invader youre not accompling any bragging rights since youre mostly killing people who (probably) suck at pvp. Arenas make sense because its pvp players fighting each other. So theres actually skill vs skill. Not shooting fish in a barrel like invasions mostly are. I wish From gave coop players a way to coop in peace the same way they gave pvpers a place to pvp.
You see, most of the players that play with friends do that because they're bad at the game, then you just go there and crush them to show you're better. It's actually a sad thing to watch. Anyway, congrats for your skills!

Only 5, this is a low number, i'm quite concerning about Chase's health :)
Thanks again for making this
How do you arrive at a decimal amount? You either say the word or you don't, no?
@@ladonmccabehe stops part of the way through sometimes
Should’ve added 11:18 as a bonus as well :3
6:20 his lantern turning off when he gets backstabbed makes this seem much more cinematic and dramatic than it had any right being
bros life was literally extinguished ):
snuffed
A guy named guts AND three rivers of blood? Daring today, aren't we?
Borderline experimental you might say, people are really expanding their horizons.

Why is it that in every media I've ever seen, be it Dungeons and Dragons or Elden Ring etc, poison 'builds' tend to be really weak and mostly relegated to use by evil creatures like goblins and venomous animals.
Because that’s similar to real life and they strive to be perfectly realistic
Because poison in media is related to insidiousness, cowardice, honorless, only the weak would use it to have any chance in a fight
Shinobu in Demon Slayer is the weakest Hashira for example
@@Holynoellethis is very insightful:)

Immediately summoned an image to my mind of the old school DiTrillizi kobold with the scorpion on the end of the stick 🦂
The Coil Shield could be a solid addition to this build given the Weapon Art procs poison near instantly in PvP and does solid damage to boot.
Would love to see an int/faith hybrid caster with both the death sorceries and golden order incantations, maybe having sword of night and flame for a melee option
Im hoping that we get more weapons that scale with int/faith in the dlc.
Bros relentless with the content.
Isnt it poetic that the barnished knight (a knight in an order) killed annakin by cutting him down and then burn him to cinders ?
Almost as if it was fated so
I recommend St Trina's torch for it is uncircumsized
Real
A poison build, but doesn't invest into arcane....
Poison moth flight might be good to use after they're poisoned for some burst dmg
Poison glass cannon build?

"their hp is gonna be slowly drained the whole time" unless they're a streamer and miraculously have unlimited boluses
It's almost 2024 and people still don't know what the vigor stat is smh
Get that poise on and give em poison.
The damage is crappy but poison is good for the psychological pressure it can apply.
I like to imagine that every guts bro encounters is the same guy, and he’s absolutely sick of getting invaded daily.
I love how relaxed you seem to be while playing, I woudn't ba able to augh and talk while trying to focus on adjusting my strat.
tbh I think that's pretty much the only viable long term attitude to playing PvP in this game, otherwise you'll just ragequit for months lol.
Love seeing you bring veriety to this games pvp. I'd be super excited to see you show us the limits, of what can be done with the relatively underwhelming Dragon Greatclaw when optimizing for it. Keep up the good work, and merry christmas ^^
Idk if it still works, but back towards release you could combo an ultra greatswords crouching light into dragon claw

was about to go to bed but there is poison so..
Idk why but posion builds are always my favoite
Seeing players like Guts really make me realise how little practice some people get at PVP, r1 spamming for days, man came straight from DS3
St. Trina’s torch is also lethal.
Have you considered using Raw Meat Dumplings to proc poison? I know they're a pain to farm, but it's one-and-done to poison you, and 50% health could make it a good emerg heal too.

You should do a glass cannon episode with the jar cannon
black knife showcase is lethal

I'd like the small fire breath on the knights to be available😂
Do you have a mutiplayer code?
I hear that sleep faith builds are fire...
chase, everything is lethal if you use it
especially the st trinas torch
The funguy has come to show us his new canned presentation, while we wait for Chase, might as well enjoy everyone hating his broccoli flavoured powers
I found a cool trick if you use the sacred butchers knife people that stand in the mist hela you like if you were hitting them with the weapon.
sorry can u tell me why u chose dex over str for this setup?
Holy is that Guts??!?
Add great stars with prayerful strike to this build and you'll be unstoppable
I'd love to see you getting the gear together for one of these builds. Or at this point do you just have everything you need on hand?
If you watch the “Only leveling through PVP” playthrough, you’ll see where he gets most of the items as he kind of builds his PVP “kit” Rather than using a single weapon.
Toxic in a good way lol 🎉
Any Build With You Is Lethal Man
Time for bleed tank build!
Bruh. I fking KNEW he was gonna say something about the highground fighting Anakin.... he didn't tho😢
You should test the phantom slash AOW its one of my favorites id love to see the goat use it
Would like a death blight , death sorcery build. I think the DLC may give us more stuff for death but id still like to see you use them in pvp!
are these invasions on ng+?
i do love that if you think a build doesnt work you can probably find a chase the bro video wrecking pvp with it
How about a ghost build? With the cool ash of war that guy had and then some more ghostly abilities alongside it
Shield-tank build next?
Bro the wild strikes spinny flail would be hilarious on a tank build.
Can't wait for you to do tank Beasteal spell
rosus axe is lethal
16:11 "Nobody expects the follow up attack" i had no idea that skill had a follow up attack at almost 1k hours lol

Never say Crumbling Farum Azula like that again plz, cheers bro
How about making imitations of famous build like the big dad from DS1 or player inspired one like let let me solo her?
I would love to see you use Mohgs great Rune in invasions to see if it does much
Spinning slash in narrow corridors is very good - it doesn't bounce of walls.
Don't know if you've done the Great Club before but I think it would be pretty cool
Love your videos, but how come you never use the second charged R2 on Raptor’s Talons, it’s one of the coolest moves with the back somersault?
I guess people aren't realizing how much wiffing their doing with rivers. It's over. Get a new crutch.
I love you, Chase. If I ever see you irl I am gonna hug you.
A mix of the latest builds 😂
Why not show your stats?
Hey chase ❤️😝
Come on Chase, do the deathblight build!

Day 12 of commenting until Chase uses Poison Moth Flight in a video.

Smurfing, overgeared, over statted , invading low levels, lose = run away. But "content" duud
