I graduated from high school in June of this year. I invited my 6th-grade reading teacher to my graduation party and asked her if she could gift me a book to keep. She gifted me with his book. So uplifting!

Ugh..makes me cry. Why couldn't he have stayed longer on this planet. Such a beautiful amazing teacher, husband, father and friend. Such as the journey. There is no way to explain this life. We can be plucked out in a moments notice. Make it count, everyday, make it count.

I’m required to read this book for school. Definitely don’t judge a book by its cover. I thought it would be boring but once I started reading it I couldn’t stop. This book really teaches a good lesson and touches the heart.

Being only a teenager, I hope that I can lead my life half the way that Randy did. I hope that I can live my life to the fullest, learn to see the good in people the way he did. I think that all our English classes in high school should show this lecture. It would teach so many people such a great lesson. My mom had cancer, and she now lives her life a completely different way after surviving. She lives everyday like her last, and takes risks. I hope I can live life like my Mother and Randy.

To imagine a person suppose to die in some months sharing wonderful and a marvelous guidance to future generation is really astonishing and unbelievable.I am really honoured to hear and read great LAST LECTURE.God should have given him long life for great contributions.I am astonished to see the way he and his family faced the inevitable.I can understand the underwent by them because my beloved wife has been operated and is under medication for breast cancer. However we were lucky as she was in stage one.I strongly recommend people suffering from deadly diseases to draw inspiration from this most remembered humanity.

Working on a Friday night at 10:00 pm, Randy P? What works for some, doesn't work for others. There are valuable lessons expressed here, Randy, and it was your life experience that taught them to you. But every life is different. And everyone has a different path they must follow. Lead your life the right way, you say? The karma will come to you? I agree in being ethical but that doesn't mean that just because you lead your life the "right way" that bad things can't happen to you. After all, you're dead now, Randy. Cancer killed you. And you led your life, the right way, didn't you? You do inspire, Randy. But the time honored tradition of "work hard" and "play by the rules" is not a premise equally shared in American culture. Matter of fact, some might say you're a sucker if you do!
