- Carx Technologies has now started working on the Multiplayer aspect of CarX Street PC. We might even get a release date soon. It is possible that we might be able to play the Early Access at the end of 2023 already!

To be fair, car x street is SUPER hyped up, maybe they are trying out features in other games first to bring all of them to car x street at once, so it's as good as we want it to be

Edit: makes sense they work on the mobile game because the original carx was a mobile game first then it came to pc
CarX Tech really loves to make a promise when they knew they are not ready to fulfill that promises. Thats why its very dissapointing when they delay the game thousands of times now. Mobile has flopped, hopefully they will succeed on the PC version. great job goose as always!

I think mobile would be better if it were optimized better. My midrange device plays pretty much everything just fine, Genshin, Aether SX2, Dolphin, but CarX still runs like crap at Low Settings/Resolution.
I think if they launched pc version they would get more profits

1:14 I was also surprised with that - but later at the QnA, I could confirm the devs building the DR3 and Street are different ones - they work separately, so there will be normal schedule.
To be specific, Drift Racing, Street, Rally - they have different departments, so they told us not to worry for delay
2:45 It's actually the other way around, iOS has the most restrictions in their app publishing platform and all apps get tested by apple, that's why the AppStore generally has way less dodgy apps on it. I bet they released it first on apple because it's more difficult and might take longer. But this doesn't explain the 8 month delay that Android got.

Probably optimization, iOS phones are all iphones with basically the same hardware, while android phones are all extremely different hardware
iOS is simple with the apple dev tools provide, similar to Android sdk. Thing is, users have a harder time craving the game for cheats. Android version is crackable. You can add gold and money, play online, and not get banned.
I really hope they will update the console / steam version with Car X3 features just like what they did when Car X2 was released
I find it a little weird how they have done a CarX Drift 2 and are doing CarX Drift 3 when on pc and consoles there's only 1.
My friend makes games for mobile and he has found it's much harder to publish on iOS than it is on Android, a lot of hoops to jump through on iOS. In saying that, the reason it takes longer to release some games on Android is due to the fact there's a massive range of Android phones so takes a lot more work to optimise the games to run well across the range.
It's the console vs PC problem. PCs come in all shapes and sizes, while consoles come in only a handful. It makes PCs much more versatile, but harder to optimise for.
They have different teams on the different versions I think

They’re working on Car-X rally too, this game is one of the best rally games to ever be on iOS since rush rally series. Only ripe I have with carx rally is that the cars are too slidey like even after all tire upgrades it’s hard to drive. You sort of have to pre turn in order to make some corners.

You got a point, cause in Samsung M21 it just lagged out terribly even with the lowest possible graphics (I haven't tried it in my iPhone 10 yet because I cannot access it).
Still samsung compatibility issues i think
I play it on Galaxy Fold 4 and its fine, some lag spikes here n there but I can accept that its a PC game squeezed on to a mobile which is hard to do. It does work at 50-60 fps consistently.
I do play it on the lowest gfx settings, but one weird bug the game seems to have is that it somehow goes back to a higher gfx setting if I enter a paint/parts shop and come back to the map, and I have to keep messing with the slider settings to get it back to the lowest gfx setting.
The game is running fine on my iPhone SE 2020 as long as I’m staying out of the town and it’s not heating up.

CarX Drift Racing 3 having a damage model isn't surprising to me since CarX Rally already has it. I do wish CarX Street gets one since time trial races do feature a damage meter.
I play CarX Rally and CarX Street on a Galaxy Fold 4 and it runs decently. Some lag spikes but otherwise it works smoothly. For a mobile game it's really fun and you can play it endlessly if you wanted to.
Also they seem to have added Nürburgring to CarX Drift 3 which is cool.
It's huge man like the carx drift and racing
CarX Tech has separated states of developing, so different people are working on different games.

@@Goosiest well me as a game developer who makes an openworld car drift game for middle low end pcs.. i can confirm that sometimes some problems just cause big delays
leme explain, well me and my other teammates who work on Drive 'N Chill [aka our openworld drift game] have a very big issue with AI traffic being super silly and no joke.. it have been 5 months since we try our best to make a properly working AI for traffic otherwise we may just scarp the idea dn make a visual only traffic [no collisions = more fps and easier coding
soo im not sure but this pc version may take up to 2 months by soo far
[ps: deom me saying i ripped their game to understand the lag issue.... models... god dem models... they literaly use god dem seprate object for each god dem street line the white thing on the roads... they are seprate
not even mentioning they use an console special used LOD system that uses soooo many CPU
fun fact carx stree actually needs 3gb ram for entire thing but besides of the physics and graphics their method for LOD and the way they created the city is soo unprofessional that ngl as an experienced game developer im disappointed]

2:55 the sad thing is its not only harder to publish but also to optimise on IOS. My suspision is that they are (since its a mobile game) putting it on IOS first bc IOS users might be overall bigger spenders in those games.. Would be the only logical reason behind it.
It's easier to optimize for IOS. Because only apple phones use it. Android spans a range of phones from a range of companies
i like how not every game development company focuses on developing games for console and pc only. I love that mobile is getting some love too; coming from a person who has neither a pc, laptop nor console. And CarXtechnologies is to be commended for that+ they try their best to make sure the game is available on other platforms. Wish other companies scaled down their games and make them available for mobile devices. Stay sideways

Been watching your videos for a long time, I hope your remember me.
To add to this, I have CarXStreet on my iPhone 7+ (yes slightly older model i know), but god can it be annoying af. There's no lag, but most of the time the map doesn't load, so you have to guess where the road is an pray that ai Traffic doesn't hit you. These issues only happened after their latest update. Prior to this it was running buttery smooth. And to top it off you can sometimes fall out of the map. Best you can do is pray you don't fall through the road.
It's like a polygonal mess about 80% of the time
2 billion years later after all those years we finally have car x street for pc
Still waiting for them to implement AA and resolution selection for VR in the current CarX PC. They did a lot of things right with VR, but the low-res jagged graphics kill your eyes after 15mins of playing.

2:58, from what cyberpunk 2077 thought us was that never release a game wants there's no major bugs when releasing it early
Mabye they are starting on carx3 to see what limits they could do like the visual crash to test first in those games before putting into carx street so low risk of negative feedbacks... or i might just be dumb lol :) love your content
The Carx Drift Radcing 3 are from a different team that the Carx Drift Racing 2 and the Carx Street.
CarX Street will Really be released on PC. The second closed beta testing of the game is already underway. There will be another beta test before the release. A picture with a new area of the map and a livery on the car was posted on social networks. I hope you still have hope🙏

1:55 Listen, to program a game on mobile and to program a game on pc is 2 completely different things. I think the reason they are slow with the pc version is because they have a small team of pc developers while they have a lot of mobile developers who can work on games very efficiently and fast

BUT, YEAH I'M EXCITED FOR 3 BUT MORE SAVING AND RESTORING PROGRESS OR PROFILE WOULD A GOOD OPTION, I SWITCH MY PHONES ALOT AND I LOST EVERYTHING AND NOW I'M STARTING FRESH.. WHICH IS BULL(QUACK).. CarX Street and CarX Drift Racing 3 are on 2 different studios from CarX Technologies.
There were broken and buggy games back in the day, it's just that we never played them. Everyone remembers Nfs Underground but who remembers LA Rush or Street Racing Syndicate? That and nostalgia makes us think that gaming was better back in the day, but in reality, you just never played the bad games, so when you see them come out today, you think things have become worse.
minute 3:09 it is actually true. I have a Samsung Galaxy A51 and its very very very laggy, the sound quality of the car is low, the sound of the surroundings are also bad i tried deleting some of my games like pubg and genshin, yet still very laggy. But i do enjoy it, i hope they will fix this
I used to be a software dev. One *possible* reason why they released it on iOS first before Android is because.... there are far fewer iPhone models out there. It's so much easier to develop and optimize a game for iPhones because there's only one iPhone release every year. It's probably the exact reason behind the Samsung compatibility issues. In my opinion, Android's greatest pro is also its greatest con - diversity. Great for consumer choices but also quite a hassle for developers. These are just my two cents on the matter.

Apparently each game has different teams making them. So another game being in the works doesn’t change the release of Carx Street on pc. The team working on Carx Street are simple not keeping up with the schedule.

2:47 This is actually on the contrary, which confuses me the most. It’s a lot harder to have an app or game published on Apple’s platform, with a lot more restrictions. It’s a very tedious process, and especially with Apple’s monetisation rules. This is why there are so many low quality and rip off games on the play store because of how open it is to just publish an app on there.

Actually Fun Fact for you, It is Significantly harder to Publish Apps on iOS then it is on Android. The hurdles and extra features you have to have in place for iOS is crazy. Cause Apple wants a cut of that money, so if you're selling stuff on the game you have to have enabled Apple Pay, on top of getting a cut of the profits per transaction. Android OS do not require Google Pay for there App releases and take less money from the games profit
