I'm really happy with this update, I think less but bigger updates is the way to go. 4 weeks per update really seems crazy, there is not much you can do in 4 weeks. I hope it goes steadily uphill and eventually we'll have a game that feels whole.
yeah... that footage doesn't look like update 9. The game looks a lot different now on PC. It looks like the re-shaded it, the RT is much more accurate/stable and that hazy look that looks like you are driving in a wildfire is gone. Looks really really good!
@@Touton701 Not everyone spends hours at a time on the game, from my experience I'm lucky if I get a hour or two a week to spare. Regardless it's a decent update.
@@KarlDavies-dn3eg never said you need to spend hours on the game at a time just because you can beat a week worth of content in 2 hours and 40 minutes doesn’t mean it needs to be all within the same day I have a life to I just play on my days off/ in my free time
Having just played the Sebring Endurance race I'm really frustrated with the rubber banding, which I tested on a mid difficulty. When I was behind at the start, I could fairly easily catch up and pass the car in front, but if I got to first, as soon as I got to 3-4secs ahead, they'd be behind me in a couple if corners. It was so bad that even though I led the race most of the way, and when I wasn't ahead I was chasing down lead cars, I had the slowest fastest lap time of literally every other car. You can't use strategy because if you run hard tires and stay out a few more laps, the cars behind will be running 5-6 seconds a lap quicker until they get in front of you whereby you can easily catch them. It's a shame really that they've done this.
Correct! Idk why the Brits tend to pronounce it this way. It’s like they apply the “Nurburgring” pronunciation. The city the track is in is Sebring, FL. The “ring” in Sebring is purely coincidental.
Bridgestone partnered with Forza Motorsport to launch the first ever Bridgestone Rivals for rewards worth up to $1000 USD and an unlockable Bridgestone driver suit. Don't know why they haven't announced it yet, but it's set to be available on the 20th of June to July 10 2024.
This update feels lackluster imo? Im excited for endurance races but with the stability and crashing issues this game tends to have i hope that people will even be able to make it to the end of a 30 minute - 45 minute or hour long race. Also i get its a new car and you can get it for free for a week but $5 for One single car in a car pack seems a little insane to me. And i was hoping that with an endurance themed update and with LeMans coming this weekend, we would see some newer or more updated GT class cars and even some changes ti the Forza GT so we could have more online separation between GTE/GT3/GT2/V8 Super Cars but i guess not. And its so weird how they can claim built from the ground up and yet Laguna Seca and Daytona both had to have pit land updates because they've had the same wrong pit lane for years and they spent a long time hyping Nurburgring and even released it early just for them to have to update the curbs to the current year. I feel like im nitpicking and being annoying about this but for a 2024 game at a $70-$100 price point this game really just feels so lacking and missing a personality

Patience. Are you worried Forza is going to go somewhere before you have a chance to play all the racetracks? Give it time. Enjoy life, the tracks will come sooner than you think.
@@jamesharden3timedpoy466 These may be the same tracks that were in the game 10 years ago, but they look different, the tracks have been renovated in real life. Track layouts have changed, buildings have been constructed, curbs have been painted, and the racetrack has been resurfaced. All of this is beautifully represented in FM. If they just gave us all of the tracks that they made 10 to 20 years ago they would perpetually be out of date and in 720p. It's the exact same reason that fan favorite cars are left out of the forza lineup at launch. Every single car that has returned from a previous game to FM has been remodeled. The game isn't going anywhere, and unless you're 85 years old with lung cancer you'll have plenty of time to play it. Am I sad that Mount Panorama/ Bathurst is not on the track list? Yes absolutely. Even If it takes them 3 years to add it, will I be absolutely ecstatic when it comes? Yes absolutely. Patience is a virtue.
@@DrivingGod21 Some of what you say may be true, but certainly not all of it. Like all the old tracks having to be imported in 720p for example. Relatively simple update. And not all of the car models returning from previous Forza games have been updated. In fact, many are not updated and some still remain incorrect to real world models even. You can fairly easily tell the ones that *have* been updated (or "touched up" in any significant way) by the liveries imported from previous Forza titles that no longer correctly line up in places, or altogether. There are also many bugs present that highlight this. With that being said, the developers have announced recently that they are going to start updating more car models, but it will be a long and slow process. There was nowhere near enough time to do this before launch and if they had done this, the game probably still wouldn't be out.
