Cashman didn’t play against Detroit in the first game and Jalen Redmond didn’t even sniff the field in that game. The biggest takeaway I see is that you have a lions team decimated with injuries and you have a Vikings team defense particularly that now has 16 games played together under their belt. Detroit has kept their foot on the gas all season and have shown they are strong, the real question is what does Detroit have in the bag of tricks that isn’t on tape. I only say this because the Vikings have introduced new wrinkles on both sides of the ball week in and week out. A prime example is how they came out on defense last week and played man to man 50 percent of the game and shut Green Bay out until they went prevent. On offense they read the field from shallow to deep when they are unanimous for going deep to shallow. I can’t wait for this game.
No offense is like Detroits. All we need is a stop or two on defense and it’s a game. By no means does it guarantee a win but I do stand by that. Our offense is good enough against ANY defense in ANY coverage, it comes down to the defensive side of the ball for Detroit. Possibly having Thor back is huge as well.

Coach of the year is a tough call, but if Detroit wins and gets the 1st seed, you have to give it to MCDC imo. The Lions have played without a ton of guys for weeks and still won. It isn’t like just 3-4 weeks. They have lost guys all year, and in the past 6 or so, they have been picking guys off the practice squad and street to fit them in the game, and still won with the exception of the Bills. I cannot say that I have ever seen a team continue to win with such injuries in my 60 years of watching football. Now, KOC has done a great job with Sam Darnold and Minn has won 14 games, but don’t forget Det has won 14 as well. Nobody really saw that coming either. Tough call, but the winner of the next game gets the coach of the year.
When the Vikings get to 15-2 this Sunday night. You have to make KOC coach of the year. When everyone predicted the Vikings to be 6-11 before the year started
As a Lions fan, not worried about this game. Defense doesn’t have to be great, just have to be good enough. Offense will expose their D. Gave them 14 points last time and we still won. Not worried at all.

This Lions vs Vikes game has a lot of significant changes from week 7, but I think the bottom line is that Campbell is too scared to punt because right now the Lions D can't stop anyone.
