Great video and good fish. I have 6 of the 7ft sams super sensitive rods and love them. My 2 brands of crappie rods are the sams and mustad detector rods 7ft 2 inches.
Chartreuse trout magnet and jig catch hundreds here. 1 inch watermelon pearl gulp minnows work well on the trout magnet jig as well. 💪😎
Glad you finally got on some.
I have a customer appt up around there next week. Hopefully if I get done in time I can go hit it up too.
Heck yeah! Hope you get into them!!
Just beautiful fish 🐟🐟 and small lake.
Thanks for watching!
I see your at it again 😀 im going Sunday but man i checked the water this evening from the road and it looked up pretty much , but not muddy
Finally caught a few crappie lol It must have cleared up some. It was muddy as all get out yesterday. Get em!!
Nice Crappie, Kid! Great job!
Thanks!!
Personally I like a fixed cork or simply swim a jig to find the right depth and whack spawners.
That lucky pink bucket
That could be why it’s been tough for crappie this year! I haven’t had my pink bucket lol
Switched to baskets years ago after losing a stringer to a large snapper.
I can’t stand baskets lol. I have never had an issue with a stinger before. Hope that continues lol
You have caught enough to feed a family 👋🏾👍🏾🔥🪱🎣
Sweet 👍😎
Thanks!
That’ll work 👍
For sure!
Can you make a video about the setup? I only know how to catch crappie when they're just above the bottom (with a jig.)
Yeah, I’ve actually got several videos on rigging and fishing this setup on my channel 👍🏼
Keep that awesome content coming..brother I have a grandson that autistic where can I find a fishing reel like that?
I appreciate it! I got mine from sixgill fishing but they are out of stock right now
You have a eonderful video but what state are you in? Bc where im at in NC, it seems to be over already. Ive been going out on shore and cant even catch one. Stumps where they usually are on, are empty
I am in Texas 👍🏼
What color were you using
Cookies and cream
Crappie spawn over a period of 45 days. No reason to rush it… wait for ideal conditions and go have fun.
Here in Texas, we are on the back end of the spawn. Won’t be going on much longer
Is that one of the Autism Angler reels that SixGill designed? I love mine!
Yes it is! I love mine too. My son is autistic
What day was this like a week ago
Yeah it was. It was choco milk and no bueno after the rain 👎🏼
Where are you fishing at? How deep are you fishing?😅😅❤
Does it always have to be with a slip cork? I use small bobbers, and they work as well. Is there a difference?
No, not always. Usually if I am fishing deeper than 3 ft or so, I will use a slip cork. 3 ft or shallower, I will use a fixed cork. Hard to cast a fixed cork 6-7 ft deep
@KidKrappie I just Google it. Now I understand the purpose of a slip cork. Dang, I wish I would've just looked up a TH-cam video on how to slip cork. Lol 😆 thank you for your input. Keep doing videos man! Awesome content and raw!
I caught 50 couple days ago
What's your rig set up? I use a Santee Cooper when I go for Cats'.
What lake is this filmed on if you don’t mind me asking?
I would love to say but it’s too recognizable of a spot I feel
Man I hit a creek yesterday and didn’t catch not one crappie. Caught a few sandies and a hybrid. Something’s off.
I could not tell you how many times that exact thing has happened to me this year. It’s definitely strange
Nothings off. There is a “HUGE DIFFERENCE” between fishing a “PRIVATE POND” and a public body of water!! 😂🤣😭
@@robertwhite3752I’ve never seen a private pond with a public guardrail atop its bank
@@televisionpilot3551um, I really don’t know how to answer that? Maybe someday you will? I guess? I don’t know where your from, but theres millions of private ponds that have public guardrails atop their banks and that border them. Literally millions.
@@televisionpilot3551 and if you think that’s crazy, there’s also public ponds that border private guardrails and private property.
Show the frying them up!👍
Wear was you fishing at?
North Texas
Do you take people out to fish like are yours guide if so how much you charge
I am a guide too. 250$ for one and 350$ for 2 for 6 hours of fishing.
My website has a lot more info 👍🏼
Www.kidkrappie.com
@kidkrappie I don't know if I can do it right now I'm not working right now and I might be leaving for school soon and on top of it I flipped in a kayak on Saturday and lost all my hard baits and terminal tackle and my spinning combo luckily the fishing community is tight and helping me out
Awesome day, how long ago was this?
Week and a half ago or so
Where in Disney Land did you get that Reel?
Sixgill. It’s an autism awareness reel for my son who has autism. Not Disney land
Is Denton Creek a good spot to catch crappie?
Where can a straight man find a reel like that? Hahaha J/k what kind it is? Nice crappie btw!
It’s an autism awareness reel from Sixgill. My son is autistic
@@KidKrappie Its pretty cool and flashy, i like it! ♥
As you're a Crappie guy, have you ever checked out Victor's stuff? If not, you should and purchase some of his stuff. His floats and jigs are weight tuned to each other! PERFECT! Check him out here... th-cam.com/video/3ZroUMDcqAY/w-d-xo.html ..his Crappie slip sinker rig. Also check out his fixed float set up.
Do a video on releasing them into some hot oil!
Did already. Have to actually look back at my channel lol
Teach us how to use the slip bobber.
Got tons of videos on that. Just have to look through my channel 👍🏼
@@KidKrappie thank you.
Bro, honest question? How much fish do you eat? 🤣
Not a ton honestly. Maybe twice a month. I haven’t caught a ton of crappie this spring so these are gone already lol
How long was your leader?
I didn’t have a leader but I was fishing 6-7 ft deep
@@KidKrappie strait braid?
@@neabowhunters8107 I used 6 lb Mr crappie high vis mono. I’m not a big fan of braid
@@KidKrappie
Got ya it sounded like braid. I do
Find that jigging with braid sometimes the line spools funky.
What part of the country
North Texas
Got ya I'm to far north wisconsin
Ive been sharing and spreading the word about your channel. Love your videos. So glad to see its growing a bit more.
I appreciate it !
