Yang ZongBao disobeyed the specific command of Commander-In-Chief Mu GuiYing and went into battle prematuredly. He was defeated, and Mu GuiYing had to punish him with 40 strokes despite that he is her husband. Here Mu GuiYing tries to patch up with her husband who is angry that she has punished him so severely.
The ZhangJiang Cantonese Opera Company of GuangZhou 湛江粤剧团 on 5th July 2012 at the Kreta Ayer Peoples' Theatre, Singapore. Popular xiaosheng star 梁兆明 as 杨宗保, whilst daoma dan 保梁燕飞 plays 穆桂英.

一個能文能武的粵劇文武生，在現時香港實屬很難找得到，兼且聲色藝俱備更是難得，兆明哥聲線具有磁性，柔中有剛，比一般女文武生（任劍輝除外）偏重陰柔優勝。在色方面，日常生活中的兆明哥不算英俊，是一個普通人，但化妝後截然不同，能扮成一個非常俊俏的文武生，可能是戚眉的關係，身形更是纖瘦流暢。藝術修養方面更是突出，可能是由小鍛練培養，身段台步，水袖武打，均屬一流，功架非常扎實耐觀，難教日漸受香港觀眾欣賞，喜愛及擁護，有人說是觀眾緣，其實背後的實力更值得新一輩想從事文武生的人深思考慮。
