A success both professionally and personally, I love that Connie has allowed her life to be lived without the constraints of celebrity holding her back from pursuing whatever passion projects she chooses and her life isn't the trainwreck that most celebrity lives are which is truly a good thing to hear. Connie became one of my favorites back in the day during her run in Hero! And although it's very difficult to know "the real person" through all of the Hollywood blitz and glimmer, Connie always stood out (from my vantage) as simply a really good person. No surprise to find she walked the walk! Great job, as always!

Another great job Dave, I remember Connie Sellecca vividly, I first became aware of her on "Flying High" the CBS Show it was around 1977, great memories of a better time. I also remember about that time she was on a game show I can't remember the name of the game show however, but on the game show was her brother and mother and father as part of the game show scheme. It was so interesting to see such a personal side of her with her family.
I also remember Connie from Flying High. A lot of people probably don't remember that her husband John Tesh used to cover the Tour de France for CBS Sports.
I remember an interview where she said she went into the Producers' office after being cast for The Greatest American Hero and before shooting for the first season started to tell him she was pregnant fully expecting to be fired. Unexpectedly, he asked, "So?" This is why most of the first season of the show she had something covering her expanding belly. She was very surprised as women who got pregnant were usually fired from the production. The producer didn't care. One more reason to love the show!
Dave my friend my Dad would always say that Connie Sellecca was very pretty whenever we would watch episodes of The Greatest American Hero and/or Hotel. Thank you your TH-cam upload brought back those great childhood memories with him for me.

I remember Connie Sellecca best from a movie I loved as a kid called The Bermuda Depths, which also co-starred Carl Weathers (Rocky/Predator). It's not a great film, but I love spooky stories and things with magical/mystical elements and that's what this is, combined with a love story. I haven't seen it as an adult - now I may need to go watch it for old time's sake.
Loved her on GAH, but the TV movie that really stuck in my mind with her was the only Rankin-Bass production with live action cast- The Bermuda Depths. I saw it on a late-late-late night airing when I was real young, and it has haunted me ever since. It wasn't so much the content of the movie itself, it was rather crap, but the imagery and the fact that I didn't know the name until the mid 2000's. I only remembered bits and pieces of it, but eventually I found it on YT and elsewhere and got to see it all over again. I know I'm in the extreme minority here, but when I was a kid I loved her in the 1978 made for TV semi-horror movie The Bermuda Depths. Her haunting beauty fed the story line perfectly. Although the special effects were terrible compared to today's quality, her character's ethereal nature stole the show, enough that I've lost count of how many times I've seen it. It costars a fellow best known as Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers), as well as the wonderfully salty Burl Ives. It's a fun tale, more gothic than violent. I actually recommend it.

From I what understand, she has been a kind and supportive companion during Tesh's battle with cancer.
