Awesome video dude but please please please don't rub your coin finds especially in the sand or sand on gloves/hands. If you are not expecting to every find a coin of value then I suppose it's fine to do that but for me every coin is a potentially awesome one. Even if it's not worth much it could be historically "valuable" and you don't want to damage it either way. Just my two cents. Again, thank you so much for the video/s! Love seeing us locals making finds!
Hey Frankie ... The coins that come out of these areas are already wrecked ... no chance of even getting a date from them... I also find plenty of them(around 350 grams of silver coins this winter alone!) Appreciate the support brother!
As an aside, please can you let me know what machine you are using? I recently tried detecting the Rooi Els beach with my Simplex plus and it gave me hell in the wet despite all my attempts at changing settings/preset programs.
Im using the Manticore ... best to lower your sensitivity on the older simplex machines when working in the wet salt conditions ... the newer Simplex plus or Double score should handle the salt conditions better... Legend is the best at salt conditions if you can fork out 10k for it!
