You have a special gift of teaching in addition to your amazing piano skills. You demystify and simplify not just the contents of this video but all your video tutorials. Even I can understand them : ) Thank you so much!

I wish I had found lessons like yours thirty years ago. I would have saved me a lot of useless detours!
It's late but not too late! I am a guitarist.

I was watching this and thinking "this stuff works for any instrument". Maybe even more poignant for wind players.

How does this work so well? Because it focuses on melody and practice rather than theory. I am not against music theory at all (on the contrary), but this approach is so fresh because the theory is minimised to simple relationships: half or whole tone steps. Ultimately, that is all we have to play with. But play you must!
What am I saying? *I'm* the one who needs to practice this stuff.
Fantastic pedagogical approach. from JazzSkills. Bravo bravo. Best Jazz tutorial vids on TH-cam by far.

    Awesome video !!
Just saw your channel on recommended :).
    Good teaching !!
This lesson is enough for anybody player if applied correctly.
Knowing both major and minor chords and scales, over the entire piano, in all keys will make learning advanced piano pretty easy.
Taking thirds and adding a chromatic note in the beginnings is an awesome tip !!
You can do the same thing with fourths and fifths as well :).
    Thanks for sharing!
