As someone who previously faced 67 years on a drug case and didn't snitch, I agree. We all make our own choices, mine got me here, and it's my problem to deal with. I'm not trading 1 year of my life for 3-5 of other peoples (which is what it would amount to if you rat, reduced sentence and everyone else goes down for longer), what sense does that make?

Most of my friends sold drugs and some still do in London I easily could do it but I stayed away because of my mother as I was her only boy but they trusted me 100% so I helped little bit here and there and enjoyed everything drugs money brings

I know that feeling wake up to a gloomy day and go to sleep in a county jail and that was my next 7 years and that feeling just sucks the life out of you. After a few months in county you accept your fate n I couldn’t wait to start my prison time . In prison was actually a good time I was a heavy Hitter with hands I met a lot of good dudes n lot of bad dudes . The bad ones are the young kids they will get into more trouble n don’t think about what could happen . The lifers were the most grounded if you wanted real advise and I took rhere advise and changed me forever but in a good way . Yea I got High in prison but never touched the crap when I got out . Been over ten years now and I’m married with a kid n own a house people can change it’s up to that person weather there ready or not

This is low key the best long form story telling series on TH-cam. huge fan of your content. i really appreciate how you don't try to big yourself up and are honest about the pros and cons of that life. if you're ever in the 757 or 804 area i'll come to a show. Also consider jumping on the fryers at PF chang's and pursue a side job as a homeless cat. We'd love to have a 1 of 1,000 cawlmedian. You should consider doing a podcast where you discuss current criminal trials or maybe interviewing other former inmates. The crime/prison stuff is way more interesting than two comedians discussing stand up comedy and how much of a bbbbbeast george carlton was.

Wow what a freakin cliff hanger! Man I’ve done a few stints in county and when u get booked and someone casually tells u that ur being charged with somethin heavy or someone tells u a crazy amount of time ur possibly looking at if u get convinced and sentenced….. it’s a surreal moment. U literally become the most unnerved you’ve ever been in ur entire life by far. Pacing, stressing, asking other inmates what they think might happen based on ur case n all that. And u realize ur at a true life crossroads that could potentially see u spending a good portion of ur life locked up in prison.

I know a former dealer who had a successful 20 year run, got raided twice and beat both cases, and never spent a single day in prison. His advice is that if you ever get arrested for drugs, this is what you should do: As soon as they cuff you and read you your rights, say, "I understand these rights and I hereby exercise my right to remain silent and I want my attorney now." This is called invoking. After you invoke, the police aren't allowed to ask you questions even if they wanted to, and it prevents anything you say from being used against you in court. After you invoke, do not answer any questions or say anything. Just sit there quietly in the back of the police car. Next, they'll take you to the station and put you in an interrogation room. These rooms are audio and video recorded. Just sit there quietly with your head down and take a nap for a while. When the detective comes in, they will ask you again if you want to talk to them. Don't do it. Tell them "NO i do not want to talk to you, I want my lawyer." Then put your head back down and go back to napping. They will get the point pretty fast that you know your rights and not to bother trying to get you to incriminate yourself, and leave the room. Next, another cop will come in to cuff you up again and transport you to the jail. Under no circumstances should you resist or break your silence no matter what they say to you. They might try to intimate or scare you, don't fall for it. Just quietly let them take you to jail. When you get to jail, they will either book and release you or lodge you, depending on the severity of your charges, how overpopulated they are, etc... Just let them go through their process. Do not sign anything. Do not answer any questions. Tell them again that you want your lawyer. Worst case, you might have to spend a few days in jail, then they will either release you on pretrial or let you post bail. But if you remained silent and didn't do anything to incriminate yourself, even with a public defender, you will have an excellent chance of beating your case outright or getting a very favorable plea deal.

i remember when i first got arrested, i was 13 and i will agree that it’s a very surreal experience, especially the strip search. although now that i have bettered myself me and my sister find ways to joke about it and it makes for a good story sometimes

I know a former dealer who had a successful 20 year run, got raided twice and beat both cases, and never spent a single day in prison. His advice is that if you ever get arrested for drugs, this is what you should do:
As soon as they cuff you and read you your rights, say, "I understand these rights and I hereby exercise my right to remain silent and I want my attorney now."
This is called invoking. After you invoke, the police aren't allowed to ask you questions even if they wanted to, and it prevents anything you say from being used against you in court.
After you invoke, do not answer any questions or say anything. Just sit there quietly in the back of the police car.
Next, they'll take you to the station and put you in an interrogation room. These rooms are audio and video recorded. Just sit there quietly with your head down and take a nap for a while. When the detective comes in, they will ask you again if you want to talk to them. Don't do it. Tell them "NO i do not want to talk to you, I want my lawyer." Then put your head back down and go back to napping. They will get the point pretty fast that you know your rights and not to bother trying to get you to incriminate yourself, and leave the room.
Next, another cop will come in to cuff you up again and transport you to the jail. Under no circumstances should you resist or break your silence no matter what they say to you. They might try to intimate or scare you, don't fall for it. Just quietly let them take you to jail.
When you get to jail, they will either book and release you or lodge you, depending on the severity of your charges, how overpopulated they are, etc... Just let them go through their process. Do not sign anything. Do not answer any questions. Tell them again that you want your lawyer.
Worst case, you might have to spend a few days in jail, then they will either release you on pretrial or let you post bail.
But if you remained silent and didn't do anything to incriminate yourself, even with a public defender, you will have an excellent chance of beating your case outright or getting a very favorable plea deal.

i remember when i first got arrested, i was 13 and i will agree that it’s a very surreal experience, especially the strip search. although now that i have bettered myself me and my sister find ways to joke about it and it makes for a good story sometimes
