I saw them at a small club in San Diego, CA. We were maybe fifteen feet away from Cy, and him and the band were at their brilliant best that night. The sound techs had it right for the room, and they just flat blew us away. They are great musicians, each of them. And Cy was powerful, just powerful in his performance. They were Super tight and just nailed every song. Even when I listen to them now, I listen at a higher volume. They're sound delivers a punch and has Crystal clear highs, and to me sounds better, louder. These guys were one of the best from the 80's. Beautifully written lyrics accompanied by great sound. I liked them before I saw them that night. And afterwards I was a huge fan.
Love these guys! Love their attitude and outlook. They have stood the test of time! Without all the hype, their test has been proven and passed no doubt! Ty, The Fixx for many years of great music and memories.. Rock on!
No Hype No Bullshit NO Musical EGOES HERE just 5 Guys who RESPECT each other & it shows.... You can't EVEN count on one hand the number of Bands with ALL ORIGINAL members..
I love the sound of the music and their overall performance. Adam is a nice guy but the weak link of the band as the drummer. I wish they wouldn’t be so political and I don’t agree with them at all, but I can just enjoy the music for musics sake.
Sounds like they dont buy the propaganda of either side and neither side fits anyone’s complete view. Crystallizing public opinion,1923, written by the father of consumerism, edward bernays.

"You can take The Fixx on many levels." -Cy. Yes , indeed! That's what makes them great.
The perfect band. Loved these guys from my first listen.
band was way ahead of its time in the 80s...no other band (aside from maybe U2) had such depth to the songwriting and lyrics...
.....hmmm, maybe Squeeze ?

Where was Rupert Greenall???
And Dan K. Brown!
