R-pod 192 Travel Trailer Tour After 10 Months of Full-time RVing

- Here's a tour of the inside and outside of our Forest River R-Pod 192 (model year 2020). I tried to show our real life - good and the bad and the messy - and what our R-Pod 192 looks like after living in it for 10 months and driving about 14,000 miles, through 24 states. This was our tiny home, our respite from COVID, and we love our R-Pod 192 now more than ever.
The 2020 model has a dry weight of 3398 and has a few features the newer models do not - such as an outdoor shower and the pull out gas stove. Our spray port is on the front, near the outdoor kitchen. And also, for some reason our model has a separate black and grey pipe - which even Forest River thought was crazy when I told this to a rep.

Thank you! Great review because it's a truly honest review on how y'all live in it. The storage under the dinette is awesome! There seems to be more storage in your model than the larger/longer Rpod models. 🙂
Great video! I purchased same model this past June, it's 2 years old. Love your storage ideas. I've lived in mine off and on this summer and fall and will soon do another month in Colorado, or more. Thank you
Thank you! It's such a great model.
We're going to move back into it in about a month, maybe 2 months... We are in the cleaning and figuring out better storage for the bench area - and doing some more mods and upgrades.
@@SolesTraveling I appreciated. Your mattress replacement idea. I did that right away. Previous owner head removed the board to hold up the mattress when not in use. But the new mattress folds relatively easily. I use a 10 lb weight 🙂 to hold it down and then I have a nice curtain on an expandable rod behind the couch. Works well.
Thanks for the tour! I’m about to buy an R Pod and your video is so helpful. Appreciate it!
Which model will you get/have gotten?
@@mb5ggX2SyFMM I went with the 190C and I’m loving it! Light enough for my Honda Passport to pull but big enough to fit two people comfortably 🙂
@@sauntering_me Thanks for the reply! Congratulations!👏
Good video! Very thorough. We were warned about the mess & dirt & stuff. It’s ok. No need to apologize 😆
Very cool
I did a 18 month review of my motorhome last fall.
My wife and I are in our 60's and want to do this a few months a year. Any suggestions?
Great video. Thanks! Just bought an RPOD 192. What towels did you use for the bathroom. I didn't see a link. I looked at your Instagram. We are heading to the Michigan Upper Peninsula in July for the first time. So excited.
Hi there - thank you! My favorite quick dry are called Aquis - they are a little expensive but work really well and don't seem to smell. I also like using Turkish towels for a quick dry and very small packing, plus they can be used as a light blanket, scarf, and so much more in a pinch.
Wondering where you got the command sheves/cup holders in your bathroom. Do they really stay up long term?
I bought them on Amazon. The shampoo one finally fell - we left shampoo in it during 100+ heat and really high humidity when we flew somewhere for the week. But it was on for about 16,000 miles and 13 months? The others are still going strong.
Good video, how comfort is the Murphy bed?
We started with the original mattress and a 3" foam topper. We lasted about 4 months on that until it was time to buy a real mattress. Once we did that, it's been smooth sleeping since.
very cool!
Is it on while traveling? Fridge?
Depends. It will stay cold enough for hours if we throw a few icepacks in it. We have traveled with it on, however.
