Watching these videos has re-sparked my desire to become an architect and make beautiful spaces. It might just have been the kick I needed. Thank you Mathew and Nowness.

Absolutely phenomenal!!!!!its like a home on a cloud, with its creaminess, ereathal openness, uncomplicated but extremely profound statement at the same time. Very personal but warm and inviting. Along with that amazing music,,,from my country!❤🇪🇸
if you could look past the 2 babes at 2:34, there's a darth vader helmet and a robot, my initial guess was that it was Mazinger Z ( Tranzor Z ) but then i looked closely and the robot head is not it, mazinger z had a very iconic helmet shape so i did a little research and it is actually GRENDIZER, which is in the same anime universe as mazinger z.. that would explain their similarities in body lines and color..

I'm clicking away when I see the name of the director. How is it possible to put together so many closeups and so little actual footage of the interior or exterior?! It's beyond me.
Does any one knows what materials are these houses built from? Houses like these of Santorini or Italy where the wall is almost like hand polish so it's imperfect. creamy white with no window frame. It can't be just common cement and white paint right? it's looks more older and primitive and wonderful.
The materials used for this result is white plaster. There are many ways to apply white plaster to the walls but if I'm correct this one in particular is called Tadelakt. Layered six to seven times and mainly used in bathrooms since the product is water resistant. I hope that helps putting a name to what you're looking at the video. Have a nice day 🌞
@@eripa141 Tadelakt - That's brilliant mate thank you. According to Google, it is waterproof and water repelled which is one of the key elements I was looking for. I will do more research if this is what is used in Santorini as well because every video on youtube they are all just conventional concrete and white paint. It started with beautiful white mud/cob houses, how the exterior is visually pleasing. I later learned that the coating of cob houses is lime-based plaster and it is not water-resistant, hint the roof and how they must have extended edge to protect the cob from rainwater. However, I came across Santorini cliff-side resident and they share similarity accept Santorini building have no roof. I always thought the ancient built it with just stone and unknown waterproof white powder coating or some sort and I always prefer the old style of architecture, the simplicity of it all.

This is true home!
The house is as sensually alive as it is aesthetically dreamy.
