Shakey is my hero- he's the one that inspired me to really push on past my limits over the years and always improve past what I thought was possible. All my riding videos I make have that old "Fast Bikes" vibe, the way Shane used to test for them- and was just the best anywhere. His story of going from road tester (fuckin nutter that he is) to the most successful, winingest rider in British Superbike history is nothing short of inspiring. BSB is in my opinion the most pure form of superbike racing, taking real skill to pilot the bikes without all the fancy rider aides like TC that the other classes allow. Besides the IRRC/Real road racers BSB is the ultimate spectacle of action and exceptional riding, and Shakey's the best of all. Here's to another 5 championships!
