Thanks for sharing your experience. I am trying to grow in soil less media, with out sand as well. However using coarse material will make it more porous.

Valarkalam entru research articles paditheen. I will share the links next time. Cocopeat in combination with other non soil media with low EC. But trying with this first.
Guess so, I am starting with only Roses now. Need to check the Ph level of the media while it grows. Cocopeat can be mixed with coarse non soil media such as perlite etc. I came across few research articles, I am yet to validate :) Will share the updates.
baking soda solution is used as fungicide spray instead of Saaf, but didnt research if it will harm roots. Foliar spray is okay. Any other systematic , contact fungicide would do.
HI Amudha, it's not mud. Its soilless media and light like wind. Besides I have been potting Rose's for several years :) we are not hammering are we? Even if you are using soil media with right proportion, if not filled right, all will erode during heavy downpour, isn't. I appreciate your point though.
Hello, you are partially right. Scientifically it's been proved that plants can thrive in cocopeat media as well, it's ph is slightly acidic, but need all nutrient as it does not contain anything. I am to test it myself, will share my progress and experiment update :)

How to use own cocopeat made from coir?
is it dalia plant can grow only in coco peat
No
Cocopeat alone is enough or we have to add any kind of compost to it?
You can add compost or leaf mold. I added bonemeal and neemcake
@@GardeningDiary the neem cake which I use give foul smell and form mold.. that's common?
Can we plant veggies lik dis?
Can we use vermicompost with cocopeat
I used cocopeat and compost. But on top I added river sand. I used stanes flower fertilizer as well. I had some good flowers.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I am trying to grow in soil less media, with out sand as well. However using coarse material will make it more porous.
Super we can put vermic compost also
I guess so, haven't tried it. Will try that combo next

I don't think so. I am going to try cocopeat + other combination also.
Thank you sis ...
Shall we give Compost to plants at monthly twice oru thrice ,, whether it is good r not?
Too much of anything is not good. Give monthly only.
Do have any substitute for bonemeal
Rock phosphate, kidaikuma
What about adding vermicompost instead of bone meal ?
You could

Shall we kept it in open place during rain ?
It's now in open terrace full sun. Plant is fine, no wilt no leaf fall. More than one week. Started fertilizing now
how many days once we have to water it.
I am happy to see this.
Great!
In how many days media need to be watered?
I generally water when the media goes dry
Wat is pachaside
Wat is the solution u added in blue colour mam?
Fungicide (Saaf) brand.

Fungicide. I always use Saaf.

Have to hand pick and dumb it :( Hard work
With my experience red soil in more proportion with cocopeat ,vermicompost works out well compared with cocopeat alone.
That may be. I am trying to grow on soilless media. Compost and coopeat can also be used. All media has it's own advantage and disadvantage.

Hello we shouldn't press the mud because the root cannot spread and grow Frist learn and say us agree if I am true👇

We should press soil so as the roots and plant get some grip.see mita bishnois videos.

I think so. Need to try the combo and monitor Ph level of soil. Thinking of trying that next.
Sis I will try it but பயமா இருக்கு
You can probably try after a month, when I post progress.
Roses are acid loving plant but kept in fully cocopeat, hape as you aware cocopeat doesn't contain acidic!!! Give next update I am waiting
Neem cake and bone meal is also used.
