ok I did this and the totem didnt unlock for me, I lit up the other hydro crystals and then these and the hydro totem is still sealed

you still need to find the other chest near it for it to be unlocked

@@dmr1992 I did its not the chests. I ended up finding more of those water crystal things nearby and activated them and it unlocked the totem. It has nothing to do with those Hilichurls and their Hydro Samachurl partners.

@@IIESPD00DII you had already found the other hydro crystals thats why it seemed like it was the hydro samachurls. I had killed them and they never respawned. I looked all over the area again and again until I found a new set of hydro crystals and once they were activated the seal came off the totem.

All you have to do is solve all the nearby hydro puzzles (3 puzzles) and then the totem will be unlocked.

when i unlocked the chest it didnt unlock the monument. Did i do something wrong?

Yeah it was unlocked but nothing happened when I went to light up the totem. No chest no reward

​@@silentrampage97 Normally the Hydro totem will be unlock after completing 3 puzzles (Hilichurls,DendroSlime,Near Water) if u lit the totem and got no chest try login again maybe it will help!

Well I did all the puzzles in the area and the totem unlocked but when I lit up the totem nothing happened whatsoever. It should have made the 3 far away totems next to the main hydro totem to light up and given me a chest but nope

The hydro pillar is locked for me?? How did you unlock it

It needs to be raining. Those characters that you fight that can “cast a storm” dont kill them, use them to trigger a cut scene shown in the video. You have to be using a hydro character but keep hitting those hydro “stones” with a hydro character (3 of them) until you get a cutscene where the pillar is unlocked otherwise the enemy keeps respawning

Sigh too much work for an unusal chest

@@norynoodles no actually all you have to do is do the puzzle for a nearby chest to your right and then it will open
