    • @triptipswithchris
      @triptipswithchris  หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you want to use public transportation rather than ride share or taxi, I would walk to the 96th / Sepulveda bus stop. Hop on the CC 6 Sepulveda Blvd., UCLA-Westwood bus.
      At the Sepulveda Blvd./Santa Monica Blvd. you'll have to switch buses. Cross over to the Santa Monica / Sepulveda bus stop and hop on bus 4 Downtown LA - Broadway - Venice.
      Get off at the Santa Monica/Wilshire bus stop and you're in Beverly Hills.
      This will take you about 1 hr 15 mins (could be more due to traffic) and cost $2.75.

    That was really informative. Which is the best way to get to Ventura from LAX. After watching your vid it seems looks like a bus to the northern terminal and then a taxi ?

    • @triptipswithchris
      @triptipswithchris  ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad you found the video informative. Thanks for the feedback!
      If you want to take a taxi, you can take it from either inside the parking structure 3 between Tom Bradley Int'l Terminal and Terminal 3, at the far end of Terminal 7 or from the LAX-it lot where you could also get an Uber or Lyft. And yes, there are buses that can take you there.
      Alternately, you could also take a shuttle - the Ventura County Airporter Shuttle (venturashuttle.com/). That one you would board at the outer island where the orange sign "Shared Rides" is. Hope this helps.

      There are more payment options when using the Flyaway bus. You can use a TAP card, a metroLink fare card, or the driver will let you buy a ticket from the ticket machine at the bus stop in Van Nuys or Union Station.

    Hello, I want some information about how to reach the site of "Little House on the Prairie" from LAX airport. How much does it cost if l use a taxi? Or is there any other public transportation such as public bus or train to get there? Thank you ❤

    My young son is on his first flight into LAX & isn’t familiar with airports. Does anyone happen to know how to get from terminal 37 to baggage claim & then to go out & find someone who’s picking you up? The person picking him up said he would be by column 3 A but I thought everything was color coded so I’m a little confused on that part. Thank you!! He will land in a little over 3 more hours so if you see this please let me know. Thank you!!!!

    • @triptipswithchris
      @triptipswithchris  ปีที่แล้ว

      There are many signs that will lead him to baggage claim. He won’t have a problem finding that. It’s very easy.
      In regards to the columns, pause my video at 1:14 and you’ll see a column with “4H” on it. That was at terminal 4. Your son will see the same on the columns at terminal 3. It will have the number 3 and then he’ll just need to look for 3A if that’s where the driver will pick him up.
      Hope this helps.

    Hi, what do you recommend for getting from LAX to west hollywood?

    • @triptipswithchris
      @triptipswithchris  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Brianna! For public transportation (buses): exit your terminal and look for the PINK LAX SHUTTLE SIGN on the lower arrivals level and board the LOT SOUTH/LAX CITY BUS CENTER shuttle. Once you’re at the LAX City Bus Center, take the CC6R RAPID UCLA-WESTWOOD BUS to SEPULVEDA/SANTA MONICA BLVD. After getting off the bus, cross over Santa Monica Blvd to the Santa Monica/Sepulveda bus station on the other side and board BUS 4 DOWNTOWN LA-BROADWAY-VENICE. That bus will take you into West Hollywood. All in all this should take you about 1 1/2 hours. Of course it can be longer depending on traffic.
      Alternately, you can check supershuttle.com and see how much a shared ride shuttle to your destination would be.
      Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.

    LAX isn't one of the worst airports in the world. Not even close. They aren't spending all that money improving, remodeling and expanding literally everything to not improve anything. Anyway, once the People Mover is finished that will connect to the Metro K line extension, getting downtown will be easier, better and more pleasant than dealing with the Green (C) Line in the middle of the freeway and then the Blue (A) Line to downtown and beyond.

    • @triptipswithchris
      @triptipswithchris  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      As of now, I think it is one of the worst. The traffic in and around the airport is a nightmare. I agree about the improvements and am happy things are finally being addressed. In my opinion these kind of improvements, such as the people mover, should have happened 20-30 years ago. I just think they are way behind with those kind of projects considering it’s one of the busiest airports. So yeah, I’m looking forward to the projects being completed and hopefully making it easier to get to, from and around the airport.

      @@triptipswithchris I haven't been to LAX for years but everything at SFO airport is way easier. Exit the international customs area follow some signs to an escalator & walk about 200 meters in total, and you're at the BART train station with a choice of two lines. Both of which go to downtown SF & beyond.

    • @triptipswithchris
      @triptipswithchris  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@brentsummers7377 yeah totally agree. I lived in SF for a bit and loved how the airport is connected with the city via the BART. Super easy as you said.
      LAX is finally working on getting the airport connected to the metro along with a new people mover, but they just recently announced it won't be done before 2025. Hopefully that will make things much better.

    • @triptipswithchris
      @triptipswithchris  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah, exactly. That will make it much better. Should have happened a long time ago in my opinion. Traffic has been a nightmare in and around the airport. Looking forward to the metro connection and people mover.

    • @brentsummers7377
      @brentsummers7377 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I might come to Los Angeles again. Maybe about 6 months before the Olympics or six months after the Olympics, but not until those new train lines are operating. It's all very well having all these bus connection options now but traffic can ruin it all. Heck, even 30 years ago bus drivers operating transfers to the airport warned passengers about the possible delays.
