Hi Georgia, sorry to hear about your dry skin issue & sore lips … I had a similar thing during the 1st lockdown in UK (spring-summer). I think what caused it was the dry environment, I.e. being indoors quite a bit, a lack of humidity compared to Singapore/ Bali. Try natural lip balms like Burts Bees with honey! That worked for me. Also, screen time can affect your eyelids, especially if you’re reading (screen time) inside a lot. Try get some more sleep also, to give your eyes a rest, which should help your skin (eyelids). It could also be stress/ hormone related, so once you’ve settle back in the UK more, hopefully you’re flare up will go away too. ☺️

I’ve lived in south east Asia for 10 years and whenever I return to the UK I get really bad skin reactions!! It’s not happened for a few years now (thankfully) but when it was at its worst, I would get very swollen, red, puffy eyes that felt and looked awful. It would always happen about a week after I’d got back and last for about 2 weeks. Then my skin would peel - I would look about 90 years old!! lol. Then it’d settle down again. It was the weirdest thing ever and I never got to the bottom of it. It kept happening for about 4 years but I’m just so thankful that it’s stopped recently. My parents did move house an hour from Cheshire to Shropshire, so I wondered if maybe it was the change in water that caused it to stop happening.
I’m just so grateful it no longer happens anymore (touch wood!). I used to say I was “allergic to the UK” lol.

@Georgia - Lip Swelling like that is called ANGIOOEDEMA! Most commonly it's a form of an ALLERGIC reaction! (amongst other causes) - Any history of hay fever or other allergies? Might be worth getting checked out at the GP.
Life seems far more relaxing over there.
So neat,maybe you could do a first person walk vlog. I have seen more of those types of video on TH-cam, and people walk on a treadmill or walking pad along with the video

Chapped lips due to the very dry air - I will use a lip balm when I travel to the UK. Please also moisturise your skin to prevent eczema.
Do you have a lip balm you recommend?

I use either canon g7x mark ii or my phone. And Hertfordshire!
My lips are so good in Singapore. In uk theyre so dry. But also toothpaste agrivates my lips. So i switched to kids 6+ toothpaste and my lips are way way calmer. Definitely swollen lips looks like allergie 😮 maybe consider allergy tests?
Omg the toothpaste trick is interesting! I’m finding that all foods are irritating them atm :(
