- Every single Pre-rendered cutscene contained within The game Tenchu Z. (Please keep in mind, by the way, these are all of the Pre-rendered cutscenes, and does not include the cutscenes that are rendered in the game engine. Though I might do an upload of that in the future.) Sadly, I couldn't, and still can't seem to find the other pre-rendered Promotional material made for the game, as those are not contained inside the game files, like the cutscenes were. It's been quite a long time, and Tenchu Z went under the radar for the most part, so finding the proper resources for it's content is quite difficult. This video contains Videos ripped straight from the game files by me. They're as HD as possible. They're obviously not "4K" as youtube says, however, I rendered it at the highest possible quality I could, to make sure no fidelity was lost.
Keep in mind, there is an awkward lack of music and sound effects, as these were layered in through the engine, I imagine. These video files only have the bare minimum sounds, and voices. You'll notice this especially in the ending when the castle begins to burn, as there is usually a track that plays there. There's usually a track that plays in all of these lol. I know that can possibly ruin or taint these for you, but I assume that this games viewer/playerbase is just so small, that at this point, the only way you're watching this is if you've already played Tenchu Z and have intentionally looked for a video like this.
Tenchu Z, also known as 'Tenchu Senran' or, 'Tenchu: the Thousand Year War', is a game developed by K2 LLC, and published by FromSoftware. The game is a Very early title for the Xbox 360, and is still an exclusive to the console to this day. It is, possibly one of the best games I have ever played, and still play to this day. The community was extremely small, but super kind, and close-knit in its hayday. The Multiplayer Co-Op added hours upon hours of replayability, enjoyability, and just generally an amazing, incomparable experience. There is not a single game out there like Tenchu Z, it is a masterpiece of masterpieces. It has aged, sure. The gameplay can be a little clunky, and the environments slightly repetitive. But these issues aside, Tenchu Z is a game I would Almost consider perfect. Almost. It has it's bugs, but shockingly, despite it's age, the bugs aren't actually all to common in my experience. I've played this game for over 10 years and have only ever accidentally discovered bugs a handful of times. The other times were me intentionally glitch hunting, finding holes in the map geometry, etc.
It's sad that this game is still an exclusive to the 360 to this day, and that you need Xbox Live Gold to play it. (Aside from XLink Kai, but there is not a single person in the world playing it on XLink, which might change someday if I ever get my special Tenchu Z Xenia Build to work with multiplayer someday. Maybe.) Because this game is sorely, SORELY missed in a generation without properly atmospheric, brilliantly developed, and passionately designed Stealth Ninja games, where you get to customize your own character in an extremely extensive library of clothes, tools, fighting styles, skills, etc. And, you can play with 4 people total in Co-Op. It's truly an amazing experience, and I think FromSoftware is seriously missing out on not porting this game to PC, with its Multiplayer. Since the games Multiplayer is already Peer to Peer (Meaning that one player is the host, and the rest of them connect to this player to play together), means they would have to spend no money to maintain servers, only needing to pay the (likely) low amount of cash for resources to get the game on PC. You have no idea just how amazing this game is. If not for the Singleplayer, which is absolutely fun on it's own, but for the Multiplayer. Like I said, there is Truly, TRULY nothing like this game, and I sadly don't think there ever will be.
It's sad that the Soulsborne series are as popular as they are, as FromSoftware has no reason to do anything but those kinds of games till the end of time, and they'll just keep raking in Millions. I understand that Tenchu Z, an game that is nearing 20 years old (Has it really been that long? I can't believe it's been that long..) and wasn't ever that popular in the first place and will likely obviously never see the numbers that Soulsborne games do even if it Was on PC, I can just wish, and dream for the day I can play this game on PC and with my amazing friends, because this game offers something no other game can offer, and that's one of the Many things I love about it.
I'll forever continue to hold Tenchu Z very near and dear to my little heart, and I'll always be searching for all the promotional material, and other content that was made for this game in HD for as long as I can, and I will preserve the game, and it's legacy, to the very best of my ability, because that's how important this game is to me. I love Tenchu Z.

Fire thanks bro I grew up playing this game every day and now I can kick it to the best game opening of all time still slaps
Happy to hear that, I grew up playing this game a lot as a kid too, that opening is so damn good, I love it so much. Cheers, always nice to meet another Tenchu Z fan!
Very impressive
You're doing God's work, friend.
Any time ♥
I need a Z2
Are these all the cutscenes in this game?
These are all the cutscenes that are pre-rendered, so no not Technically all of the cutscenes, only the ones stored as video files that were rendered outside of the game engine.
Wait, shigi voice sounds like kakashi
He does voice Kakashi! Kazuhiko Inoue voices a lot of popular/familiar characters, it's really impressive how versatile seiyuu are!
Ironically enough, Shigi actually also voices a character in JoJo! I didn't know til I watched it recently, but it was hella cool to hear ^^
Gotta say those in-engine cutscenes feel better without the music ontop of it. Still wish I knew what the story was about beyond some emo guy who shows up while Rikimaru sits down all day.
Honestly I kind of agree. I feel like the cutscenes feel so much more ambient and quiet, and it highlights the amazing sound design of the atmosphere and environment. It sounds so nice and subtle, like a ninja game should. But I also personally dont mind the actual in-game versions, too.
The story is kind of strange, afaik you're basically working under Rikimaru and doing missions for the clan, that's about the best I gathered through my many years of playing LOL
