His career began as a juvenile probation officer in Chicago’s Cook County, where his love for urban youth and teaching others how to cultivate their relationship with God through prayer became the bedrock for his pastoral passion. Today, John is the founder and lead pastor of New Life Covenant Church Southeast, a nondenominational, multicultural church on the South Side of Chicago, with more than 20,000 members. John lives in Chicago, Illinois, with his wife of 26 years, Anna Hannah. She serves alongside John, supporting his vision and the mission of New Life Covenant Southeast.

josie crommett perhaps it’s new to you but rather than stand in judgment, I would encourage you to search the scriptures and ask God to help reveal this new experience to you. Even if you decide it isn’t what you’d like to believe it doesn’t change what is for others who choose to believe. Let it not cloud what the message he spoke said. It resonated with so many and was a timely message.
Pastor John’s whole life bout to shift like never before because after I watched this, I went looking for more content. He is anointed & appointed! May God continue to bless him, his family & their ministry. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Rewatching today, I watched this yesterday for the 1st time, and it sent me into worship. I locked myself up in the bathroom on my lunch at work and invoked the presence of God!
I was led to read Exodus and I read up to the 3rd chapter just to let it soaked in. Within a minute of closing my time with God in prayer this notification came it. God you are the Great I Am and I do believe and trust in you and your timing. I know you are preparing me to take me to the Promise Land🙏

After watching this on the day it aired. That was it been following since and God confirmed it earlier this year that he is my shepherd when I thought would be someone else. I attend new life church services online. The tuesday night bible study with Paster Jerome Lynn, Thursday bible study, Saturday night devotion. I am a little hood too!!

Miriam, the maids and maidens brought their tambourines because they ‘heard’ the word “let them go so they can ‘worship’ me in the wilderness.” They were festival ready. So we are to Worship on the way, not just upon arrival of the promise. Worship is the incubator from the heat of the desert. It Is the tallit that covers from the elements on the journey thru and to the wilderness.
