Imperium Romanum was truly ahead of its time. They had large concrete buildings - baths, amphitheaters, and other advanced and functional structures like aqueducts and roads. When the rest of Europe lived in woods in simple huts.

There seems to be an amphitheatre in every major Roman city of the empire... Did Constantinople have one? Constantine didn't have one built? Had gladiatorial games already been outlawed by the Christian emperor's post Constantine? Did Constantinople just have the circus maximus as the main entertainment venue?
I love your recent "travel" videos. But, they've given me a new reason to dislike the dark/middle ages, which was already my least favorite period. They really destroyed so much that the Romans built. Boo!

We were here many years ago. Simply amazing to go in and see it! You can almost hear the sounds of the past history! Well worth visiting!
