its hard to guess 1v1 ranks because they are so different from 2s (at least in my level) cause im champ 1 in 2s, and plat 2 in 1s. sometimes i tend to team up with my 1s opponents and they are way better than the randoms at champ 1

@@Shadow-hu9pg I have this same issue. I also find it strange that I've hit GC in rumble, but my peak in dropshot is D1 this season, but EVERY D1 player in dropshot is an ACTUAL GC. Makes no sense at all 😂

That gold 3 to plat 3 range is always underrated, people that don’t play enough ones and are higher rated always end up in those ranks and hold everyone back a little

In my experience Gold plays that play 1s play are better than plats that play 2s

1s rank is a lot lower than 2s by a lot. For example, if a person is champ 1 in 2s he would be plat 3 in 1s and Diamond 2 in 3s

10:24 this is one of the cleanest shots I've ever seen. That transition from hitting the ball exactly where he wanted it to the instant aerial jump knowing where exactly he needed to be to get the rebound... that would have been a goal even in 3v3 with 2 defenders at the net.

I would love to play in one of these videos 1 time. I could show Musty what diamond gameplay in 1s looks like. The increase in speed and mechanical difference from gold and low plat to high plat and diamond is crazy.
100%, I can hang in C2 doubles but struggle to hit D2 1s. So many good players
@@Derbyyy I find the biggest problem with 2s mains trying to play 1s is that they aren’t used to having to play near perfect. In 2s mistakes are ok to make but in 1s any mistake no matter how small can be punishable. Also defense works entirely different in 1s.
1s is kinda weird. On the high end there is tons of people who get their SSL rewards from 1s because they're like gc2 or 3 in 2s or 3s. However on the lower end there is tons of c1-gc1 players in 2s or 3s that are like plat and diamond in ones.

I think what makes this hard is that peoples' 1v1 rank is usually a lot lower than their 2s and 3s ranks. Like I'm champ 1 in 2s but Plat 3 in 1v1

i just played moon a few days ago, he was in an unranked twos match with me on the opposing team. he's crazy, i think he got into gc 2 after getting out of unranked. he's crazy!!
