Story time! (I was pretty young tbh) I got put into the same class as my friend so we hung out a ton. Year’s over, we’re best friends. Next year, my best friend gets the same class as her childhood friend as well as me. Me, her, her best friend, and some other people formed a friend group. We got into tons of drama, especially since a student came midway through the year and joined the group. My friends dump their thoughts and everything on me during fights between the group since I was the neutral one- not on either side of the fight. One day we were texting after EOG’s or a test, I forget which, and I typed in ‘this is how I text my online friends’ since we were on a google slide. They assumed I meant that they weren’t real friends( in the end they weren’t) and started talking about my ‘personality’ and how I ‘look down on them’. In all honesty, I acted like myself around them, so it broke me when I had heard that everyone in the group except for a single person hated my personality. I was always the one blamed in the end. Something similar had happened the year before that as well, so at this point I was broken. So how’s life? I have zero friends and I’m heading into a new year I’m surprised if you made it to the end of my little story, thanks for reading it.
