That was great! Small spoon jigs, and skinny 3-4" soft plastics seem to catch a little of everything...fresh and salt. Tightest of lines... Be well Frank
Eric - Good to see your family on the video. It's been many years since the summers in St. Pete. Good to see you and your family continue to thrive. You have to have been the most fish-catching guy I've ever met - You showed up to those foreign waters that I'd been pounding for years and showed me things I'd never seen before. Hope your Florida trips down in the keys are just as successful.
Hey Gus man really miss you guys we absolutely loved hanging out with your family. We still talk about the great times we had down in Tampa fishing and hanging out with you guys. Say hello to everyone and hopefully our paths cross again. God Bless buddy🙏
Great video Eric and the best part is that you got to fish with your daughter. I will be headed down from WI to the Florida panhandle and plan to do a little fishing with my wife and 2 daughters. What ounce jigging spoon would be your typical go to setup?
I was wondering where the f you’ve been hatajaa , floridas the best an the fact you can go down an outfish everyone with that j spoon says it all … can’t wait to see you out there ice out back home !
I will be fishing with you in Wisconsin harbors before i make it to the keys. Be in touch one day. Come fish with us on Lake Jocassee SC, look it up. Beautiful, reasonable, stocked trout, holds 5 state records!
Sick video! How do the piscifun hold up in the saltwater? Do you rinse them off after fishing? My diawa is basically locked up after fishing the Dominican Republic
To be honest I think if you don't rinse thoroughly most reels will fail. I wash them all down so much with water for at least 4-5 minutes. It's a completely different process cleaning your boat and gear when fishing in the salt.... adds hours of time if you want to maintain your gear or boat.
the sharks were insane and amazing that the one perfectly chewed off to get your bait back

Man those saltwater fish fight hard. Great video! That had to be a long drive to get down there with your boat!
The Bahia Honda bridge is loaded with fish. I'll be down there early march.
Awesome🦈
I can't wait, going down to Marathon the 1st week of March. You know they say.... gunna put the meat down, beat down, smack down on some fish!!!!

I don't know much about salt water ecosystems, but it was surprising to me that those sharks didn't obliterate those pelicans.

That would be cool!
Can’t beat a good ol spot lock and live scope. Do you Think a regular fish finder would work?
Yes
