- Trials, tribulations and challenges are part of every person’s life. However, to counter that, Allah has provided us a very powerful tool - and that is the tool of dua or asking Allah for help and his mercy when we need it. And we need it all the time…
Dear brothers and sisters in Islam, pls make dua for me, i am suffering from illnes (Tinnitus) constant ear ringing) which drives me crazy at times but Al Hamdulillah. Pls make dua for me so that our beloved lord Allah ta3ala may cure me from it. I pray to Allah that he will accept all of your dua and cure those who suffer from illness, hunger and trouble. May Allah accept our dua and guide us to sirat al mustaqeem amin amin amin

When it comes to dua, I was reading sourate 38 'Saade' one day. At the end of the sourate ALLAH is narrating us that famous moment when HE created Adam and ask to make soujoud for him. Satan refused to made sujud pretending that he was made from fire that made him being better than Adam. ALLAH damn him but he (Satan) made a dua; he ask ALLAH to let him leave till the end of time. And ALLAH answerd to his dua.
Then I say to my self if ALLAH aswered to the devil's dua at that precise moment; that suppose he had answered to all my past dua and to all of the other muslism's dua. And supposing that we are not as bad as Satan, ALLAH will answered to all our dua as long as we will keep knowing that ALLAH is THE Only provider...

To those people who are complaining that their dua is not being accepted should remember this:
Allah has given them fingers to type with while others are fingerless
Allah has given them intelligence while others have mental issues
Allah has granted them the ability to breathe easily while others are forced to wear air masks just to survive
Allah has given them mobility while others are paralyzed in hospitals
There are countless bounties that Allah continues to grant us even without us asking for it. So please, it is also important to remember what you don't have as well as what you do. InshaAllah all our problems will be solved; so just be patient.

While I am Muslim, mostly I do not ask Allah SWT for many things. I just feel that I am so blessed that mostly I need to thank him.

MrCollegeEater I ask only for my life to please Allah SWT. I have seen to much to feel that I have the wisdom to know what to ask for. Allah SWT has all the wisdom, he will care for me.
True but you should always ask for guidance and protection from hell fire. The Prophet Muhammad PBUH used to seek Allah's forgiveness 70 times a day or more even though Allah has already forgiven him. So always ask Allah for things, Allah never ends and has no limit, so keep asking :)

I converted to muslim recently after i realised that my dad was a muslim even if have never seen him.....have been listening to you for long time and now i just need help....i went to one of the muslim school in nairobi but am afraid to say that i didnt finish my class droped out.....the only thing i learn was how to pray but sometimes i just look at myself and feel that am not comfortable with what am doing i never misd sallah but now i miss coz am not sure of what am doing.......

God has given us his son to have relationship with and if we receive him, ALL you spiritual thirsts will be filled, Jesus will fill you with LIVING water. Pray and seek Jesus and you will receive the true god. ''If you thirst for righteousness, you will be filled'' - Jesus christ.
what is the need for a prostration of the body? does allah so need you to show your dedication physically? God knows our hearts, he knows what we want and what we need, if we think that praying 5 times a day and fasting for 30 days can save us, we don't understand god. No one has justification to enter paradise without gods grace..what price can you pay to allah to grant you mercy? at the end of the day aren't you just as sinful in your heart after prayer? we are all under the power of sin Romans 3:10 and the bible tells us that NOONE is righteous and NOONE is good. No amount of works can grant us as holy in the father eyes. Christianity: By the works of Jesus, those that believe in him shall inherit eternal life and will be made clean and holy after death, by Jesus blood.
TH-camUser The issue is that muslims and all others see forgiveness of sins as something that you can earn, as if by works we can be redeemed. Isn't it true that if anybody breaks any of the 10 commandments, he has broken all the commandments? none can be perfect. Christianity is not about what we can do for good for us to get into heaven, christianity is about what god has done for us. Jesus said love your enemy. Tell me where the quran says that? Christianity is about understanding that we on our own cannot please god, that Jesus has done the work for us and all we do it accept it. 'to seek forgiveness of our sins and everything else' only jesus can present us as clean to the father my friend

In "Dua" you ask ALLAH for miracles
Miracle doesn't happen in all ages(I haven't seen it happen our age) and, if it does, it only happens with people who are very very very rare, for example the Mariam.
That's a wrong concept. Every breath u take is a miracle in itself. Every single thing is a miracle.
