Both of their swings really made a statement to themselves as a team. Padres are a sleeping monster and it's slowly waking up. I hope they get going and play to their full potential. Soto's home run landed on a lady's head. Glad she was laughing after the fact and know she is ok. What a memory for her, to receive a Soto bomb right on her dome.

As a lifelong Dominican 🇩🇴 Yankee fan from NYC ny whole life, seeing Soto 🇩🇴 and Tatis Jr 🇩🇴 homer last night is amazing. Glad to see Tatis back from suspension playing well and moved on from what happened last season.
Padres arent a bad team for what their reford shows and they know they'll be over. 500. Theyre better in roster depth than the Dodgers and beat them in playoffs without Tatis.
I was gonna go see this series at the stadium. Those two are platano power 🇩🇴 superstars making my country proud. Good roster of pitchers and players like Ha Seong Kim who played in Korean team WBC, and Musgrove, etc. Padres are a good competitive team with a terrific farmsystem a huge payroll to sign big time free agents cuz they got a lot of money.
And now we get to watch Soto wear Yankee pinstripes
