Elektron Model Samples as master midi clock connected to the Arturia Keystep.
The Keystep is being played live and sending MIDI notes in ARP mode to the Behringer Crave.
Reverb and Delay on the Crave provided by Presonus StudioLive Mixer.
No extra sounds added, what you see is what you hear.

Finally a synth channel using the “birds eye view” format that doesn’t seem to inexplicably feel the need to have a load of incongruous Knick knacks on the table. I don’t understand the obsession of so many other channels with having all these weird little items in shot. Great track too!
Sounds professional, beautiful & shows that great music production doesn't depend on expensive gear (it depends on the person using it) 👍But the Crave is by the way is such a great synthesizer, I love mine too 😎

Behringer crave is cool
I have a question, I would like to add the Crave to my digitakt setup. That is, the Crave should receive tempo, sync and midi notes from the Digitakt. How do I do that? I get the sync - Midi Out from the digitakt to the Crave - it starts when I start the digitakt. Unfortunately, the Crave does not change the tempo and I do not get any notes sent. Maybe you can help - thanks

Dope!! Question can the craves sequencer be used independently like a drum machine and use the keystep sequencer too?
yes, with limitations but you can. I had this idea also but one key point makes it a little limited, which is the fact that the sequencer is monophonic (in the Crave), so I could not send the sequence to a virtual drum kit and make it work like a drum machine (maybe I did not properly tried enough because it was an afternoon idea)

Outstanding. I love it. I have a Novation circuit and was thinking of adding the Crave for some nice analogue depth and warmth and also getting the model samples for adding samples. Looks like I'll be getting both (but not at the same time or I'll not learn either properly!)

I’m wanting to get one of these (first synth!) and was wondering how I could have midi master clock coming in and use a midi keyboard with it at the same time given there is only one midi in port? That’s essentially what is happening here right? How did you do it? :)
Hi thanks for watching, if you use a midi keyboard that has its own midi clock (like the arturia keystep), it wil be able to send it at the same time as the midi notes. If not you can use a midi merger box.

the microfreak is a very different synth, not sure ;)

Elektron Model Samples as master midi clock connected to the Arturia Keystep. - I beg you please tell me how it's all set-up. I can't get Samples to send clock to Keystep. I am trying to set Samples as master lock, send clock though midi to Keystep which controls and nts-1 through mid. BUT can't get the Keystep to listen to Samples' s BPM no matter what. Appreciated! *cables are not an issue, I am doing something wrong settings wise.
did you set your keystep to ext midi clock mode? on the back buttons,
I'm sorry, but I didn't understand. Are these three devices (Elektron Model:Samples+ keyboard Arturia + Behringer Crave) connected to PreSonus' StudioLive? I don’t want to completely duplicate the configuration that plays in this video, but I’m wondering how everything connects.
Only the Model Samples and the crave are connected to the mixer. The Arturia keyboard is a midi controller/sequencer (doesnt make any sound) that is being used to send midi note data to the crave. :)

Hey, ultra nice set up, thanks a lot. I'm struggling a lot to play the Arturia with the Crave, it seems that when I press a key it works only every two times. You see I press, nothing comes, then I have to press again and the note comes. You might know what I can cause this? Hope I made my self clear, thanks a nunch!
not sure but it could be the midi quantizing from the keystep ? from the arp or sequencer.
@@AudiolabsPt Thanks a lot. Already checked, something is strange. Arpeggiator and sequence seems to work fine, it is just when I try to play it monophonically using the keyboard that the problem arises. Let's see. Thanks great channel, great music! The main lead is from the crave, the more subby bassline is a sample being sequenced by the Model Samples
Hello! Could you tell me please, how I could connect together, audio interface Steinberg ur 22c+electribe 2+ electron model samples? Audio interface connected to PC and to monitors. I need to control elektron via electribe by midi and avoid using the mixer.. Please, tell me which connectors should i use?
not sure i understood correctly, but to control the model samples via the electribe you should connect midi out from electribe to model samples midi in and check the midi CC mapping on the electribe to use the controls you want. other than that is just conecting the audio outs from your instruments to the inputs of your audio interface and recording the audio on your daw.

how do you set your model samples to be the clock?
Go to the Model Samples MIDI settings menu and select internal clock :)
